Growing up with my cousins is one of the best childhood memories I had which I would not trade for anything.
As someone who rarely goes out, I would say that I am not that close with my cousins or relatives who lives close by expect for those I became classmates with.
However, I have these cousins whom I have spent my childhood playing, watching movies, painting, hiking, etc., Chemae and Princess.
Last April 5, I attended my younger cousin Princess' 18th birthday. Witnessing her grow from a tiny little kid who always comes and visits me at home back then to ask me to play with her turn into a perfect beautiful young lady warmed my heart.
She invited me to be one of her 18th candles together with Chemae. I am not designed for social gatherings but I gladly went to attend her party. After all, it's a very special day of my lovely cousin. She reminds me of Cinderella in her sparkling blue gown living up to her own name "Princess". She looked so gorgeous as she always had been.
For her present, I bought her a can of cookies and drew a digital portrait of her. The place was surrounded with blue but that did not remind us of sadness but rather of the perfect blue moon that sparkles in the middle of the night.
My other cousin who is also younger than me,Chemae, and I both took the chance to catch up about each other's life, as we now rarely get the chance to talk about it since we are both so busy with our university life right now.
It's been a while since the last time I got to spend time with my cousins and this event granted me that opportunity. And of course, we couldn't miss taking a bunch of photos: group and solo ones.
The night of our lovely debutant was truly beautiful. The moon shone so brightly above for her, the music playing on the background gave life to the celebration, and the food was decent enough.
