COMO LA SEMILLA

La semilla es la flor que hay que cuidar; del sol y de la sombra, del verano y del agua, del olvido y hasta del recuerdo obsesivo; porque nada destruye más que el mal pensamiento; esa maleza necesaria de olvido, ese surco a la resequedad del corazón, ese suicidio para la flor interior. Nada bueno se cuida solo ni el viento que parece un Dios ni la idea del fruto ni la certeza de la cosecha; no hay mejor abono que trabajar el sol, que limpiar el invierno, que prepararle las hojas al verano y como la semilla no hay que esperar el tiempo de las flores para nacer.

LIKE THE SEED

The seed is the flower to be cared for; from sun and shade, from summer and water, from oblivion and even from obsessive memory; because nothing destroys more than the bad thought; that necessary weed of forgetfulness, that furrow to the dryness of the heart, that suicide to the inner flower. Nothing good takes care of itself neither the wind that seems like a God nor the idea of the fruit nor the certainty of the harvest; there is no better fertilizer than to work the sun, than to cleanse the winter, than preparing the leaves for summer and like the seed it is not necessary to wait for the time of the flowers to be born.
