Hello photography lovers! The depth of field in a macro lens is so narrow that only a strip of just 1mm wide remains in focus and the rest is brutally out of focus, with a spectacular bokeh where almost the entire visual identity of the photographed subject is lost. This for me is a great advantage when I am looking for abstract results in flower photos. In this case, a vine flower that abounds in the gardens in my area, because its branches and leaves are so dense that they are used to decorate perimeter fences and even serve to filter sunlight when the plant extends over the heads of its growers. When spring comes, they explode into these delicate flowers and that was the moment that with just one that I stole from the neighbor, I was able to take these shots, almost abstract, of the delicate curves, colors and textures of this flower. Hola Amantes de la fotografía! La profundidad de campo en un lente macro es tan estrecha, que sólo una franja de apenas 1mm de ancho queda en foco y lo demás es brutalmente desenfocado, con un bokeh espectacular donde se pierde casi toda la identidad visual del sujeto fotografiado. Esto para mi resulta en una gran ventaja cuando estoy en busca de resultados abstractos en fotos a las flores. En este caso, una flor de enredadera que abunda en los jardines de mi zona, pues son tan tupidas sus ramas y hojas, que se usan para decorar las cercas perimetrales y hasta sirven para filtrar la luz del sol cuando la planta se extiende por sobre las cabezas de sus cultivadores. Cuando llega la primavera, explotan en estas delicadas flores y ese fue el momento que con solo una que robé al vecino, pude hacer estas tomas, casi abstractas, de las delicadas curvas, colores y texturas de esta flor.
