It was time to test some of my external flashes in real life against a bright sky. For the first time, I wanted to take a photo where everything was well exposed, including the background. I did several tests with different flash powers (a Godox tt600, very affordable for beginners). At first I was a little frustrated because the background was always overexposed, too bright on the facade and in the clouds. My model waited patiently for me to achieve my perfect exposure calculation between the foreground subject and the background, until I finally did it, increasing the shutter speed a lot and bringing the flash closer and also increasing its power. Our safaris are for these purposes: To apply or experiment with the simple method of trial and error until we understand the mechanics involved in handling the camera and artificial lighting in scenarios with a certain complexity. Era tiempo de probar unos de mis flashes externos en situación real contra cielo resplandeciente. Quería por primera vez hacer una foto donde todo quedara bien expuesto, incluyendo en fondo. Hice varias pruebas con diferentes potencias del flash (un Godox tt600, muy asequible para los principiantes). Al principio estuve un poco frustrado pues el fondo siempre me quedaba sobreexpuesto, demasiado brillante en la fachada y en las nubes. Mi modelo esperaba pacientemente a que yo lograra mi cálculo perfecto de exposición entre sujeto en primer plano y el fondo, hasta que al fin lo logré, subiendo mucho la velocidad de obturación y acercando el flash y subiendo también la potencia del mismo.
