If I go prepared with my macro lens, I will spend a while observing a specific puddle and I will definitely see when one of the shells move down there. I quickly take the little hermit out of the water (among them the most colorful or the largest among that local population) and take him for a walk towards some flat rock that will facilitate the photo session. The hermit stays still inside his shell for a few minutes, but eventually he always goes out to walk again, seeking the shelter of the first puddle within reach. And that's when I start shooting, trying not to miss anything of that ephemeral scene. When I am satisfied, I take my model to the same puddle from which I took it. He'll have to tell some story to his fellow hermits!

Y es ahí cuando comienzo a disparar, tratando de no perderme nada de esa efímera escena. Cuando ya me doy por satisfecho, llevo a mi modelo al mismo charco de donde lo tomé.
