The government is for the people and it is formed by the people. In a democratic government, the people choose their own representative and the people choose the person whose work they like as their representative. If we look at the biggest advantage of a democratic government, then it is that people can raise their voice in it. If the public feels that the government is doing something wrong or any of its decisions is not in the interest of the public, then they can protest against it and in such a situation, the opposition can also protest against the running government and they have complete freedom to question them and in such a situation, the government has to answer, it cannot ignore the questions of the public. If you ask the people of any country where there is a democratic government, then you will find most of the people who will say that they are not happy with the government. They say this because there are many reasons behind it.

The first reason is that once a party forms the government, it forgets most of the promises that it had made before the elections and works only on those things which can benefit the government. You must have seen that the biggest benefit of the government is the government itself because the public has to pay toll tax to pass through the highway and the government's income increases in this. Such things get passed very quickly because the government knows that it is in its interest. On the other hand, if any such thing comes up in which the government is not benefiting, then that thing always remains pending and gets passed with great difficulty. I am not saying that this happens everywhere, but in countries with very democratic governments, it has been seen that there is a lot of corruption and the common people are the most troubled by it.
The government should first work on the basic needs of the people and then think about other things. We see that in the rainy season the roads get filled with water and mud and dirt are spread everywhere which can create a lot of problems for the common people. Government hospitals are available for treatment but there are no good doctors and there are not many facilities, so in such a situation the person who travels the most is a poor person because he does not go to the government hospital and gets his treatment done in a private hospital. The government has opened facilities for the public but there is a need to reduce them a lot because all these facilities are not sufficient, they need to be upgraded a lot, only then will the public be able to get some benefit.
The habit of corporations to try to take control of entire industries is very wrong and there should be no monopoly at all because if there is a monopoly on something which is used by the entire public then it can do as it pleases and fix the price as it wants. For example, suppose you are a network provider who provides its services all over the country and there are many other network providers available like this but if it happens that a single network provider proves its monopoly by buying all the other companies then it can increase the price as much as it wants and the public will have to pay a huge price as it will have no other option. Therefore, the government should also work against it and there should be a government system for all such facilities which are used by the public in large quantities which can compete with the private companies otherwise there will be a monopoly and it can create the most problems for the public because a rich person is not affected by all these things because he has a lot of money.
There is a great need to manage things properly because the government pays very little attention to these things after the elections and pays more attention to filling its own pockets. Whatever money is there is given by the public in the form of taxes and if that money is not used for the public then what is the use of it. If any sector of the government is not working properly then it is obvious that private industry will come forward and then it can run its monopoly if the government is weak in facilities. In such a situation, the government will not be affected but it can have a huge impact on the people who use the facilities.
