Humanity Has Been Lost in the Pursuit of Profit.

Hello to all hive users 🤗❤️🙏 Hope you all are healthy and doing great in your life🙂

I have often heard people say that a particular person is "business-minded." Once, in front of me, a person told a shopkeeper that he was business-minded, so I asked that person why he was saying that. He told me that this person has a lot of talent for making money, and making money doesn't mean that he's printing money with a machine, but rather that he can easily sell his product to anyone. You must have also heard that a person who can sell anything can do anything. Nowadays, everyone wants to have their own business and never have to work a job or do any kind of work; they just want to sit around and make money. This sounds very easy to say, but in reality, it's quite difficult. I see how much people do to earn money these days. For example, you might have seen that if a person is a teacher, after coming from school, they also conduct private tuition classes to increase their income. People are now building rooms in their houses for the purpose of renting them out so that tenants can come and they can have some income. Well, there's nothing wrong with these things because these are things that everyone needs. If you are going to live in another city from your own, you need a rented house, and these people fulfill your needs.

The problem starts when business-minded people mock humanity, and for them, money becomes more valuable than humanity. The biggest example of this is private hospitals. I mentioned private hospitals because I have seen many incidents where a person loses their life just because of a few rupees. You must have seen how much exploitation there is in private hospitals. Even if you go with a minor illness, they will conduct so many tests that your bill will be exorbitant, and in the end, they will give you some medicine and tell you to leave and then ask you to come back again, and then they will conduct the same tests again.

Private hospitals are thriving and doing so well because the facilities in government hospitals are so poor that only those who are financially weak go there. Just a few days ago, I was reading a news report about a young man, approximately 22 years old, in our city who died because he couldn't get treatment. When I read the news, I was shocked because everything was ready for his treatment; his illness had been diagnosed, the doctor was present at the hospital where he was supposed to be treated, and all the necessary equipment was there. The only problem was that the boy's family couldn't gather the money for the treatment, and because of this, the poor boy died. Couldn't the hospital have treated him for free? Would their hospital have shut down if they had waived the fees for that one boy? Seeing the behavior of these hospitals, it becomes clear that money has truly become more important than humanity today. To perform a surgery, only a few pieces of equipment are needed; the rest of the fee is for the doctor. Couldn't the doctor have treated that poor family for free? A person's life has become less valuable than money to them, and it's a matter of great shame that the government does nothing about it. It can neither improve its own healthcare facilities nor control the arbitrary practices of these private hospitals.

I don't think there will ever be a time in the future when people will show humanity again like they used to, because the current era has become so corrupt that people can do anything for money. You must have seen how many fights there are between brothers because of money. A person may have everything, they may lack nothing, but still, they stoop so low for money that they forget all humanity. There was a time when people didn't have much, yet they would help others with whatever they had, and they would share everything they possessed and live together with love and affection. But nowadays, I don't know why people's thinking has changed so much; they only care about themselves and don't think about others, no matter how much someone else might need something. I've even seen people who will let things they don't need rot away rather than donate them to someone who needs them. Although there are many good people, and it is because of them that humanity still exists, their number is very small. The future looks even bleaker, and we will see even fewer people like this.
