The year is 2025 and science and technology have progressed a lot due to which people have got a lot of convenience. If we look at the people behind this progress, then these are the people who have devoted their whole life to research, only then so many things have been discovered. There are many scientists who work hard day and night for the development of new things and for new implementations in technology. Now if we are talking about degree, then degree is such a thing that every person thinks that he should have and it is also necessary in a way because if you go somewhere even for a small post and in the interview you are asked what your degree is, even if the studies you have done for that degree will not be of any use to you, but you should have it. If you ask any youth who has passed out from school what they would like to do for higher education, everyone says they will get a degree, but in reality, most of the people do not know what is going to happen with that degree and what are they going to do with their lives. They take any degree just for the sake of formality or by getting influenced by each other's talks, even if their dream of becoming something in the future is something else or is not linked to the degree.

In today's time, there are such jobs that do not require a degree, all you need is skill, apart from this, there is no need for a degree in many fields. I have heard many people here saying that there are some jobs where even if you have a doctorate degree, if you do not know that scale, you cannot work in that field and if a person does not have any kind of degree but if that person has the skill, then that person can progress in that field. Although this is seen in very few fields, but even today there are many such professions where it is mandatory for you to have a degree, only then you will be able to work in this field. For example, if you want to become a doctor, then for that it is mandatory for you to first get an MBBS degree, without getting an MBBS degree you cannot practice and this is a very important thing. Similarly, in professions like engineer, lawyer etc., it is also mandatory to have a degree because without a degree you will not be allowed to work in these fields.
Well, in my profession, sometimes we have to do mathematical operations and for that we need a little bit of geometry or mensuration which we studied in school but even if a person has not studied much, he can still do these things, just a little bit of thinking is required. If a person has already studied a lot of things, then it comes to his mind immediately, this is the only difference. Very few things studied in school are useful for our future but those things should not be estimated because those things are the building blocks of our future studies which work like the foundation of a building. Like in a building, you cannot see the blocks or foundation but the blocks and foundation play a very important role in building and keeping it strong, without these things a building cannot be built.
