During the COVID-19period, so many things flared up related to the deadly disease. Some were saying all sorts of things, some of which were correct, while some were not. I could remember vividly what happened to my husband during that period. I fell for the words of people, but after calling him, he was already on his way to my hometown, where I was. This was the period when COVID was so serious. There was traffic when he was coming, and he could not make it to my hometown. Then my elder sister ran to me, saying she heard people saying everyone who wants to survive should bathe with salt water. She said the salt must be enough to make the body look salty.

I was so carried away by her words that I decided to call my husband, who was caught up in the traffic. I told him, but he said I shouldn't bathe with any salty water. He said nothing was going to happen. So, I took his advice. My elder sisters and others close to me, as well as Mum, dipped themselves into salty water. Temptations wanted to catch up with me, but I resisted them.
A day passed, turning into night, and night turned into two days and weeks and months without seeing any effects of what had been said would happen.
During those periods, news carried it that the Africans are strong enough just because of the weather conditions they were in. This means the chances of catching up with this deadly disease were just too slim. Different scientists in different countries started doing research on how to cure the disease. Doctors, nurses, and those in the medical lines were just not at rest. They all started searching for a way to reduce or put an end to this deadly disease. Some say it was from China, while some say it was made to reduce the population in different countries.
So, I captured that single word "reduction of population mostly in Africa." Although it was affecting the Asian and European countries majorly.
After a few months, doctors came out with a vaccine that can serve as a resistance to the disease. Different names were given to this vaccine. Some said that if one should take it, it would serve as a chance to reduce the life span of such individuals. Some said the vaccine is to take down the population in Africa and the whole world.
The government took it so seriously and mandated that everyone take the vaccine. People started taking it, most especially those working in the government sectors. Also, the majority of the reputable companies started making it a must to get vaccinated. Most people escaped the vaccine and were not vaccinated.
It was said that if they do not, they will catch up with COVID. The fear of not catching COVID made so many people take the vaccine.
I did not take the vaccine, and likewise, neither did my husband. We did not take it, and up to this moment, nothing has happened to us. People that do not take it are still strong and healthy.
Recently, news came up again that those who took the vaccine are dying slowly. They said that the vaccine is injected with a kind of medication that can kill slowly.
