I feel free being a minimalist

I love minimalist living in every sense of the word. Considering that this style is based on simplicity and having a realistic point of view of life without being influenced by trends, I have obtained great emotional benefits. And everything that affects my emotions in a positive way, I will embrace it with both arms so that it does not get lost. I am a person who loves inner peace, this is simply priceless and minimalism has helped me to keep my emotions in their proper place. This is one of the most fascinating aspects of my minimalist life.  I have learned that as long as I have inner peace, it doesn't matter if I have little or nothing in a material sense because by keeping my peace everything else is no longer relevant. While many go into debt to pay for expensive restaurants and then brag about them on their social networks, I live peacefully with what I have. I do what I can with what I have and I don't compete with anyone. Whoever wants to be in a constant exhibition to feel fulfilled, that's their problem and whoever is looking at others to compare themselves and try to have a status is going to be a frustrated human being because they will not always have the appropriate conditions to be in the absurd competition of who is “happier” for what they have. This is also what I love about minimalism, it has helped me understand that everyone should live life at their own pace, according to their own style and it has given me a rewarding identity because I focus on me. It's not that I'm selfish, but that I have a life to live and I live it my way because I don't allow my way of living it to be subject to how others live. To each his own and this individuality is great for me.  With respect to food and clothing I am very relaxed. I work to have what I need and according to my salary I support myself. I never go around spending on things I don't need, although advertising agencies in a very subtle way trick us into believing that certain things are indispensable for the house or for any area of life, I always evaluate very well what I'm going to spend my money on. Of course, from time to time I do indulge myself, but these are not guilty pleasures but well-deserved ones because I do not neglect the most important things.  As for recreation it is super easier for me. A natural environment, a sunset, the smell of wet earth when it rains, all this is completely free and I enjoy it to the fullest. I do go to shopping malls but very rarely and I usually go looking for bargains. All of this has kept me out of unnecessary debt and has helped me understand that the most valuable things have nothing to do with money. A hug from my parents cannot be bought, neither can a smile from my siblings and in those details that for me are gestures of love that nourish my soul is the source of my joy.
