Hello everyone and good evening. I hope you're all doing well. This time the contest is regarding memory chips. I believe this is a concept that has crossed many minds before in a distant science fiction. Maybe there will be a technology where there will be a chip that can store our memory and there will be a chip that will make decisions for us, or maybe make us more efficient. It might mitigate different time wasting thoughts from our minds.

Well part of it is actually real. Neuralink is a thing. And these are essentially small computers that go inside your brain and are supposed to make you more efficient. It is supposed to help you in day-to-day tasks by making better decisions and solving problems more quickly. In other words, the perfect metahuman from the comics, someone who is beyond human error. It sounds quite fascinating in the beginning and also the topic of today is that whether we would take chips that preserve our memory is a very touching analogy, there are downsides I think. No, of course it is a very good thing that we could get a chance to preserve all our memories. We would no longer have to try very hard to remember that one detail which we needed at a certain point. Also, we will never forget the available moments we spend with our family and friends throughout our lives. But at the same time it could be invasive. Let's walk through the logistical issues that we might face if we are to adopt a memory chip which will preserve our memories.
So obviously someone has to invent this technology and after inventing it considering the upside, I am pretty certain that the company that invents it gets very rich very quickly. A lot of people adopt it and a lot of people will be vying to buy one. So at the end of the day it's a technology. It has small computers in it. It has a memory chip that can be read. And there is enough possibility that the parent company of this technology puts a some sort of Link or back door in this deck so that you can be able to claim warranty or customer support or stuff like that. And that is where the invasion comes in. So you are handing in your memories to a technology company which owns this, in the event of any malfunction of the product. That is all your personal data. The company may be good and not do anything with it or the company may see the upside of selling this information to ad companies which can serve you ads based on what memories you are most fond of. There were already claims about the neuralink. It was claimed that Elon Musk will be withholding some sort of control over the chips that will be installed in the buyers and that is part reason why a lot of people did not jump into the bandwagon when this technology was first introduced and whether or not someone claims it or not. Any tech company will want to retain some sort of control on the products they sell you.
So as much as it may be a very good idea of preserving our memories and much sound like a fantastic technology, it might not be so popular because of all the data risks that it poses.
At The End, They Are Another Piece Of Data Hazard
