Hello everyone. How are you all? I hope you all are doing well. I am also doing well today. I am going to show you the historic and international, very beautiful and majestic Rawalpindi stadium. It is a very significant place; it holds a very important and substantial place in our hearts because we all are a cricket-loving nation. I am personally a guy who has been watching cricket since he was eleven years old, and I have been following it ever since. It is something I am passionate about.
I had never visited Rawalpindi stadium before; I had watched it online and on television, but never visited it before. There was an ongoing match yesterday between Pakistan and South Africa; it was a test match, and I am very passionate about test matches. I hope you know about it; it's a cricket match played for five days between two teams. They play for two innings, and I'm not going to get into those details because I am going to tell you more about Rawalpindi stadium.
Rawalpindi stadium is situated on the stadium road, Rawalpindi. Islamabad, as I have mentioned, is where I am shifted to, and Rawalpindi and Islamabad are two cities very close together; they are called the twin cities, and the only thing separating them is just one road. So, I was very busy and couldn't get some time for myself to write something, post anything, and finally, when my friend told me that there is an ongoing match and we should go at least for a few minutes and watch them play, because it's a different experience altogether watching cricketers play and watching the crowd cheer for them.
When we arrived there, there were a lot of security checks and security checkpoints because we are hosting South Africa, and they are very important to us; they are our guests, and we have to protect them. We have to ensure their security, and as spectators, we have to move through a lot of checkpoints and security checks. Anyways, when I arrived at the stadium, it was a surreal feeling, and I had never witnessed it before. My heart started racing because I am very close to cricket, and this was the first time I was watching live cricket from a stadium, that too Rawalpindi stadium.
I arrived on the day four of this test match, and sadly, we lost; Pakistan lost this match to South Africa. South Africa played really well. You see, the crowd, the management, the players, the ground itself looks absolutely amazing; it was a very well-managed ground. It looked beautiful, and the seats were beautiful. The staff was busy in management; they were kind and cooperative as well. You can see that the crowd is engaged, directed, and focused towards the players, and the players are also dedicated to giving their contribution to the win of their teams. I find it really amazing about cricket.
Rawalpindi stadium is something very close to our hearts; ever since our childhood, we have been looking at cricket, and people have been playing cricket in Rawalpindi stadiums. I am from a far-flung area of Pakistan, and coming to Rawalpindi stadium, I had never thought about it. I am very happy and ecstatic that I came to the Rawalpindi stadium and witnessed something historic. I am going to cherish this for the rest of my life.
