Shoes for Treasure Hunter and even SCUBA Diving

 Hi friends of **Hive Collectors**, following the proposal of the month, on the theme “**Shoes**”, today I will share with you about the shoes that I usually use to move in the day to day, and to perform the hobbies that I am passionate about. Here you will not see anything new, but some types of shoes that show the traces caused by their use and by the time factor. For me, the main thing in a shoe, is that they are comfortable to my feet and that they are the most suitable for each specific action I perform. For that reason, I will group my shoes according to the type of activity I want to perform. ## To work in my garden:  It's not about a breed of dog or cornbread dumplings. **Hush Puppies** is the brand of shoes I wear when I want to tend to my garden. They are the ideal shoes, because of their hard smooth leather and a thick sole that protects my feet from any sharp objects that may be on the ground, and also from the injuries of some terrestrial species.   ## Neoprene shoes for Snorkeling:  When I go out with my family to some coast or beach, I usually take my snorkeling equipment with me. For this type of light snorkeling fins with open heel, it is convenient to use **neoprene shoes** or **socks** as footwear. They are light, comfortable and protect the foot from rubbing against the fins. They help prevent cold, which is perceived by the thermoreceptors of the skin, which in the plantar area of the foot, are very sensitive to temperature changes.  ## For Metal Detection: When I want to venture out on a **Treasure Hunting** with friends, like the kids in **The Goonies** movie, but carrying a **Metal Detector**, I usually wear **Skechers** shoes. They are strong, thick leather and with a hard sole, allowing me to move in various terrains, from the most hostile with a rocky cutting bed to a wet clayey flat sediment.  ## Walking around the neighborhood: For my daily outings and going to the agromarkets in my neighborhood and nearby places, I look for comfort in a shoe. I want them to be made of leather, to avoid so much heat and not to roast my feet like a baked potato. That's why I like to wear these from the Spanish brand **24HRS**, which, as the name suggests, guarantee comfort for many hours. I prefer them with laces for a snug fit. This model in black, has a thick sole that does not slip on the street, even on rainy days.  For sunny days, I like to wear these English shoes of the brand **Clarks**, which are made of uncolored leather, light and comfortable to the foot. For wet streets they are not recommended, because the material of the sole tends to slip and one could have an accident due to falls. They have been with me for years, and their leather reflects the cracks of their age. Nevertheless, they are still functional and continue to accompany me despite their years.  ## SCUBA Diving Boots:  Another of my hobbies is **SCUBA** diving. Unlike light neoprene shoes, here I use stronger fins, and a firmer blade to withstand the resistance of the water to the kicking motion. For these open-heel fins, **Scuba diving boots** are used. They are made with a thicker neoprene, with more height, opening zipper, reinforced edges, and a firm sole so that the diver can, once his fins are removed, walk on the rocky bottom of the coast, both in and out of the sea.  ## Shoes I wear with jeans:  For a casual outing, where I wear jeans, sweater or light shirt, I like to use this type of shoe with a matte color. Where the leather or material used, is soft, flexible, lace-up and looks harmonious with the rest of the outfit. For a more elegant outing, I usually wear shoes that are more appropriate for the occasion. I have two basic colors: black and brown, and I always prefer them with laces. I don't like to wear chains around my neck. My only garment will be a watch according to each occasion; and I can't miss a fragrance that vibrates with the emotions I feel at that particular moment.
