It's probably about a week since I last opened my laptop, and I was a hardcore internet user until like a month or so ago, but I've started working, I am working hard and I am doing it for cheap...
But hey, that's how life is, for some... I have not stayed away from the markets though. I constantly check on crypto prices and other indices. Not as often as I used to but definitely on a daily basis.
SPX is doing phenomenal, gold is king, NVIDIA is over 500% up in four years while Bitcoin is just 60% while most alts are dead... Yes, you read that right: DEAD. Some have had decent rallies over the years (2022-2025) but most are at bear market levels.
HIVE is well below bear market levels. It is sitting at 2020 ranging levels. At this point it is more than obvious that Bitcoin was THE BET. I mean, if you would have bought some at $20,000 for example you would still be sitting on more than decent profits right now while holding "sound money".
I went for shitcoins cuz that's where the money was two cycles in a row and this bull market is by far my worst one, if we are still in a bull market...
I don't hate crypto because it made a few good years of my life some of my best years of my life, but crypto is pretty much dead to me by over congestion. Too many alts out there...
Total is above 2021 levels, BTC is above 2021 levels, but when you have tens of thousands of crappy shitcoins you can not expect to make significant gains from such market. Too bad I am seeing this too late. I don't believe in altcoin season anymore. If I am getting a 3x on my portfolio from now until end of the year/Q1 2026 I am out completely...
They say BTC does not peak until we see its RSI get above 80... 64 points at the moment, and who knows, maybe we see one more rally for the king before entering the bear market.
I wouldn't bet heavy on altcoins though... It was obvious it had to fail... At some point... The four year cycles were too obvious every moron could make money. Unfortunately very few did because in 2017 and 2021 no one saw these cycles as being obvious, betting against, and now when everyone was expecting history to repeat itself, it didn't...
No matter how you put it the masses are always screwed... I thought crypto was my ticket out of the masses, but it seems I was wrong... Anyway, have a great day and catch with you all next time.
