Was Crypto waiting for the new iPhones to wake up?... Damn, how ugly the new iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max are... I owned the 15 Pro for about a year and a half, and it was the best-looking phone I’ve ever had, with top-notch build quality.
Batteries are a problem since they degrade too fast, but the main reason I didn’t hold onto it until now is that I absolutely hate a few things about iOS. Android is superior in so many ways... So happy with my Oneplus 13.
The new iPhones are way uglier than anything we’ve seen coming out of Cupertino. That camera bump stretching from side to side on the Pro models is... a cheap, ugly rip-off of Google Pixel phones.
Bitcoin is doing relatively well again, and it feels like it was waiting for the new iPhones to launch before resuming its uptrend. We’ve had nearly a month-long correction in the market, but today it looks strong.
However, altcoins seem to be outperforming Bitcoin. Newcomers like PUMP.FUN are absolutely ripping right now. I had a long on PUMP at one point but closed it too early. I’ll admit I’m bad at being patient.Q4 is usually bullish for crypto, especially in bull market years. Although many altcoins are still relatively close to their bear market levels, there’s always a catch. BTC dominance is currently at 58%, and it’s not looking good at all.
It has crashed below key resistance levels and has virtually no chance of hitting 71% like it did in 2021. If this cycle even remotely mirrors previous ones, many altcoins could at least 5X from their current levels.
Just a couple of weeks ago, many were fearing the bull market was over, but you know the masses—they’re always wrong near the bottom. No bull market has ever ended in disbelief, so why would this one be any different? I doubt it. Without mania on Twitter and YouTube, without influencers bragging about their PNLs and preordering Lambos, I don’t see this thing ending anytime soon.
When will it peak, and how high will it go? We’ll need to be patient to find out. I’m keeping an eye on RSI for BTC, BTC.D, the psychology of CT, some Coinglass peak indicators, and my own gut feelings. If I had to guess, I’d say early 2026 is when we might see a top for altcoins. What do you think?
