I can’t believe today was my first day working full-time after a bit over eight years. Yep, you read that right—I haven’t had a full-time paid job in over eight years. Back in Norway…
Since then, I’ve swung between all sorts of side hustles, crypto, and basically nothing. It worked for a while, but 2025 has been tough with money, so I had to get my ass moving. And I did.
I moved to Austria about a month ago, and today I started working at a bakery. I already hate it, and I doubt I’ll last more than a week. I’m packing products in the cold, and it’s brutal.
Now, I might sound smart sometimes here on Hive in some of my posts, but most of my jobs so far have been physically demanding. I’m not clever enough for an office job, and to be honest, I’m not even sure I’d want one…
I do hate highly demanding jobs, and this one fits the bill. No worries, though—I’ll talk with the boss next week and ask for a different position. If he’s cool with that, then I’ll stick around at the company longer.
If not, I’ll have to find something else. Oh, and I almost forgot: fuck crypto!
If anyone had asked me two years ago whether I’d pictured myself this broke in the middle of a bull market, my answer would’ve been a hard no. The harsh truth is that, for altcoins, this bull market has been absolute shit.
Bitcoin’s had its moment, and who knows, maybe we’ll see a $200,000 BTC this year or in Q1 of 2026. But altcoins are underperforming by a huge margin. If we’d had a bull market like 2021 or 2017, I’d be in a much better spot right now.
Life’s full of shit and surprises sometimes, though, and we’ve got to make lemonade out of it all. Anyway, I’m too tired to keep this rambling post going. So, have a good day, peeps, and I’ll catch up with you all next time.
