The price of the token is not that important for us right now, sure it helps get some extra delegations potentially if it's profitable (i.e. higher than curation rewards APR), but those are usually just some short term delegators looking for a quick profit rather than actually wanting to invest.
The token is not important currently because it doesn't really fund the game past the delegation scenarios mentioned above. While I do keep buying zing for long term hold, there's probably many thinking that hive has a better chance to "do something" short term compared to zing, which is fair, so it's understandable that many may skip it and go for hive instead due to delays and uncertain launch dates.
If you feel like you have enough hive and want another long term investment, I'd spend some on zing, but that's probably a very small userbase right now overall with many more interested in other things like splinterlands.
Either way, marketcap wise the project has remained somewhat okay above $50k, which is a respectable amount considering there's nothing to do yet. Let's hope we can change things in the near future in terms of players finally being able to play!
