One of the more iconic spots that identifies Bali to the world!
This is Pura Ulun Danu Beratan or the Lake Beratan Temple ~ Temple on the Lake... it always seems to remind me of the phrase, 'No man is an island'
Totally worth a visit especially when it is a little rainy, misty and mysterious, as the horizon and maybe part of the lake disappears and the temple looks as if it is floating...
Two parts of the temple seems to sit on separate islands Its multi-tiered pagoda-like structure is of Balinese traditional design, and certainly captures the imagination of most visitors to Bali
