Activity Report #320


At noon it wasn't really hot yet, the wind was blowing strongly and cooling me down nicely while running.

The first 2 km went uphill on my training course, then downhill again to the starting point.

The second lap felt better for me, my legs were running almost by themselves. 8 km were done. I then continued to run along the main road and arrived back home at 10 km!

They say "There's a first time for everything". Now I've been on this beautiful planet for several decades, but I haven't planned to run 10 km in one piece yet.

Many thanks to @mcnestler (@sports-max), who motivated me to try and take part in the 10 km city run in Munich on June 30th.

Only now do I have the certainty that I will really make it! I can certainly still work a little at the pace, maybe I can cover the distance 10 - 15 minutes faster, we'll see. . .

You can see all details in the table below! In any case with around 1:30 hours for 10 km I am quite satisfied as a run newbie.

Um die Mittagszeit war es noch nicht wirklich heiß, der Wind blies kräftig und sorgte beim Laufen für Abkühlung.

Die ersten 2 km gehen bei meiner Trainingsstrecke ein wenig bergauf, dann wieder bergab bis zum Ausgangspunkt.

Die zweite Runde fühlte sich für mich besser an, die Beine liefen fast wie von selbst. 8 km waren geschafft. Ich lief dann noch die Hauptstraße entlang und kam dann bei 10 km wieder zu Hause an!

Man sagt "Es gibt für alles ein erstes Mal!" Jetzt bin ich schon einige Jahrzehnte auf diesem schönen Planeten, aber 10 km Laufen an einem Stück hab ich mir bis jetzt noch nicht vorgenommen.

Großer Dank an @mcnestler (@sports-max), der mich dazu motiviert hat, es zu versuchen und am 10 km Stadtlauf in München am 30. Juni teilzunehmen.

Erst jetzt hab ich die Gewissheit, dass ich es wirklich schaffe! Am Tempo kann ich sicherlich noch ein wenig arbeiten, vielleicht schaffe ich die Distanz 10 - 15 Minuten schneller, wir werden sehen . . .

Alle Details seht ihr unten in der Tabelle! Auf jeden Fall mit knapp 1:30 Std. für 10 km bin ich als Laufanfänger recht zufrieden.
