Comenzaba año 2022 y ocurrió una tragedia, se dañó la lavadora que teníamos en casa para ese momento, porque para cualquier ama de casa el que se dañe la lavadora es una absoluta tragedia, creímos era algo solucionable por ser de la reconocida marca Whirlpool, pero lo que no sabíamos era que ese modelo era importado desde Colombia y tras la respectiva revisión nos informaron que aquí no había repuestos para dicho modelo.
Como teníamos hace algún tiempo una de la marca Mabe guardada, optamos por mandar a repararla, ya que nos señalaron que para esa marca era mucho más fácil encontrar repuestos y por un tiempo fui feliz, pero al tener tiempo guardada comenzó a dar mucho trabajo, por lo que decidí adquirir una nueva.
Así para abril de ese mismo año y gracias a HIVE, logre adquirir una lavadora nueva de la marca Daewoo, aquí les dejo el enlace de la [publicación](https://inleo.io/@actioncats/lavadora-nueva-gracias-a-hive-spaeng) donde compartí este logro, esta lavadora es de 11 kilos y ya tiene tres años, es el electrodoméstico que más amo de todos los que tengo, el motivo sé lo terrible que es lavar a mano, además es uno de los primeros que he logrado comprar yo sola.
Para mí una lavadora es un electrodoméstico indispensable en cualquier hogar, ya que nos facilita la vida mientras hacemos alguna otra labor, ella está lavando la ropa, solo hay que depositar en ella la carga de ropa, el jabón, programar y listo, ella hace el resto y luego solo hay que tender o llevar a la secadora, si disponemos de una.
Durante estos tres años he procurado cuidar este equipo porque sé que las lavadoras modernas son mucho más delicadas que las que eran analógicas, además de que adquirir una actualmente estaría un poco complicado para mí, así que procuro no exceder la carga para cuidarla y hasta la fecha lo único que hemos tenido que cambiarle han sido los bastones, es decir los amortiguadores y eso fue este año, porque mi hijo y sobrino en mi ausencia cargaban lavadora en exceso, por lo que ahora yo no dejo que nadie la use si no estoy en casa y superviso las cargas antes de cada lavado, soy la que activo y mido el jabón.
Hace poco también traje el técnico para que le hiciera un mantenimiento general, es decir, desarmar y limpiar el tambor y toda esa zona que suele llenarse de sucio por el agua el jabón y algunas pelusas que no atrapan los limpias pelusas de los equipos y la verdad me quede sorprendida de todo lo que tenía y del mal olor que se siente debido a todo lo acumulando allí, es algo como baboso lo que se ve y siente.
Una de las cosas que más me gustan de este equipo es que no es enorme, por lo que no ocupa tanto espacio. Además, tiene ciclos que van desde los 15 minutos hasta los unos que 77 minutos, que es el que incluye remojo.
Otra cosa que amo de este equipo es su color gris, que me parece más sobrio que los de color blanco, aunque ambos colores son combinables con todo. Así que mi lavadora Daewoo es mi electrodoméstico estrella y consentido en casa, la cuido como un tesoro.

Since we had a Mabe brand washing machine stored away for some time, we decided to send it in for repair, as we were told that it was much easier to find spare parts for that brand. I was happy for a while, but since it had been stored away for so long, it started to give us a lot of trouble, so I decided to buy a new one.
So, in April of that same year, thanks to HIVE, I was able to purchase a new Daewoo washing machine. This washing machine has an 11-kilogram capacity and is now three years old. It is my favorite appliance of all the ones I have, because I know how terrible it is to wash clothes by hand, and it is also one of the first appliances I have managed to buy on my own.
For me, a washing machine is an essential appliance in any home, as it makes our lives easier while we do other tasks. It washes the clothes; you just have to put the load of clothes and soap in it, set the program, and that's it. It does the rest, and then you just have to hang them up or put them in the dryer, if you have one.
Over the past three years, I've tried to take good care of this appliance because I know that modern washing machines are much more delicate than the old analog ones, and buying a new one would be a bit complicated for me right now, So I try not to overload it to take care of it, and so far the only thing we've had to replace are the shock absorbers, and that was this year because my son and nephew overloaded the washing machine when I wasn't there. Now I don't let anyone use it when I'm not home, and I check the loads before each wash. I'm the one who turns it on and measures the soap.
I also recently had a technician come to do some general maintenance, which involved taking apart and cleaning the drum and the whole area that tends to get dirty from the water, soap, and lint that the lint filters don't catch. I was really surprised by how much there was and how bad it smelled from all the buildup. It looks and feels kind of slimy.
One of the things I like most about this appliance is that it's not huge, so it doesn't take up much space. It also has cycles ranging from 15 minutes to 77 minutes, which is the one that includes soaking.
Another thing I love about this appliance is its gray color, which I find more understated than white, although both colors go with everything. So my Daewoo washing machine is my star appliance and my favorite at home, and I take care of it like a treasure.
