Hace aproximadme dos años compartí en esta [publicación]( https://peakd.com/hive-196708/@actioncats/mowgli-un-gato-desamparado) la llegada de un gato a los jardines de la urbanización en un principio se creyó que era un gato en situación de calle, pero después supimos que era de un joven que vive o vivía en las cercanías, pero como este gato no estaba castrado, salía a recorrer territorio, su dueño se negaba a castrarlo, pero yo lo hice en secreto y más cuando supe que este irresponsable finalmente se desentendió de él.
Ver el cambio de Mowgli, luego de que fue castrado para mí, ha sido algo maravilloso y, aunque ahora no tiene un hogar, no le falta afecto y alimento. El dueño del quiosco lo alimenta en las mañanas y hasta tiene una silla para uso exclusivo de este gatito que, como verán ahora, está muy gordito.
Asimismo, otros vecinos de la parte baja de la urbanización lo alimentan, ya que este gordito se hace sentir, se hace querer, Mowgli ha dejado de visitar a la parte alta que es donde vivo, porque por aquí ahora transita un gato feral de nombre Mordisco y lo agrede mucho cuando viene por acá
Pero hoy mientras esperaba que mi esposo resolviera el tema de un caucho espichado en el último momento, estando en la entrada del estacionamiento apareció Mowgli quien ahora es una linda bolita rellena y decidido posarse sobre un cartel que retiraron de una pared, así que lo acaricie un poco y le tome algunas fotografías para compartirlas.
Este gatito ahora además de gordito, está mucho más tranquilo sigue siendo un travieso, pero ya no es tan agresivo como antes, el saber que es amado y que ya no buscara ajarse detrás de una gatita en celo o buscando ampliar su territorio, me da satisfacción, lo único que falta es que sea adoptado por una familia que le brinde amor y un techo.

At first, it was believed to be a stray cat, but later we learned that it belonged to a young man who lives or lived nearby. However, since this cat was not neutered, it would go out to roam the neighborhood. Its owner refused to have it neutered, but I did it secretly, especially when I learned that this irresponsible person had finally abandoned it.
Seeing the change in Mowgli after he was neutered has been wonderful for me, and although he doesn't have a home now, he doesn't lack affection and food. The kiosk owner feeds him in the mornings and even has a chair for the exclusive use of this kitten, who, as you can see now, is very chubby.
Other neighbors in the lower part of the neighborhood also feed him, as this chubby cat makes himself felt and loved. Mowgli has stopped visiting the upper part where I live because there is now a feral cat named Mordisco who attacks him when he comes here.
But today, while I was waiting for my husband to fix a flat tire at the last minute, Mowgli appeared at the entrance to the parking lot. He is now a cute little ball of fluff and decided to perch on a sign that had been removed from a wall, so I petted him a little and took some pictures to share.
This kitten is now not only chubby but also much calmer. He is still mischievous, but he is no longer as aggressive as before. Knowing that he is loved and that he will no longer chase after a female cat in heat or seek to expand his territory gives me satisfaction. The only thing missing is for him to be adopted by a family that will give him love and a home.
