I already wrote a bit about our new life after the relocation from Germany in January. But what I did not talk about yet are our cats ^^ .. Today my post will be about them 😸

We were actually a bit worried about our two lovely furballs when we started our 13 hour long car ride and assumed that they won't like it and would be frightened, but in the end we worried for nothing 😉 .. Both were sitting in their cat boxes at the backseat all the time and did not miaou a single time. They also had a worn and smelly T-Shirt from us inside their boxes which they liked to sleep on while we were still at our old place. All together they were completely relaxed. From time to time my wife talked to them, but most of the time they just slept and did not care 😸
We brought their old cat tree with us and directly set it up when we arrived. It took just a few hours for them to get used to the new accommodation, but they still were not frightened and climbed the cat tree after a while to sleep there 😪 .. Here you can see Nami, who made it herself comfortable. She loves this place and it feels like nothing changed for them. We heard stories about cats who went crazy and feels very lucky that our cats are adapting so easily and took the whole movement without a problem 🍀 .. I find her quite photogenic and it appears like she is posing especially for me 😸
As you can see here, Jeremy feels super comfortable too. He has the same hobby as Nami, namely sleeping a lot. Cats are just so lucky when living with the right human feeding slaves 🤗 .. Contrary to Nami, which showed the exact same behaviour as before, Jeremy came far more often too us for a cuddling session after the relocation. Besides that, he behaves as usual from the beginning too 😉 .. He actually does not like to be photographed as Nami doors, but sometimes I am lucky to get s nice portrait of him.
The new cat litter here is identical to our old one and we had no problem with it to. It's the exact same box shape and characteristics, the colours used are also the same and it has the exact same consistency. It would be to he same one, but here the trade mark is different. So we are lucky in this regard too 😉 .. Regarding the food, we had to change it. Although they have the same brand as we had in Germany, here the price is easily four times the former price. So we had to experiment a bit with other brands, but the second one we tried was too their liking. Too adapt then to the new food, we mixed it with some old ones that we brought with us from Germany. Thereby, we increased the percentage of the new food gradually until the old brand was gone 👍
So far, we all managed to relocate and did all the necessary paperwork. The cats also feel at home and had no adaption problems. We already got to now some of our new neighbors here in this little village and were successfully sending out little boy to the first class in school, which starts 2 years earlier here ^^ .. I started my new job, which I really like, and my wife received or second son recently. We adapted too this new and beautiful mountain paradise and feel very happy here 🥳 .. if only the baby would grand us more than one hour sleep per night 🤣
