I think that if we were able to do a survey right now, we would find that 90% of people are dissatisfied with the state of the global economy. The unfair distribution of wealth poses a serious threat to the ordinary citizen, who makes up more than half of the world’s population. Many people are suffering from economic decisions that benefit only a very small group.
This small group controls the market, businesses, and economic decisions in ways that serve their own interests, through huge companies and investments. Meanwhile, small-scale investments and savings made by ordinary citizens are heavily affected, making it difficult for them to cope with the daily rise in inflation. This is why we must take a stand and express our opinion honestly.
As I mentioned, even one survey conducted among most people worldwide or even within a single country could reflect how economic decisions fail to serve ordinary citizens or truly benefit the country. Instead, they mainly serve certain groups under the pretext of paying off debts or carrying out “economic reforms.” These are terms that most people don’t fully understand, yet they have a huge impact on their lives.
The priority should always be given to people with low incomes, so they can keep up with what economists are implementing. After that, attention can shift to the middle-income group, and finally to business owners and the wealthy “giants.” But starting the pyramid from the top creates a serious risk to fair wealth distribution around the world and to people’s quality of life in general.
