The fight for Money

Nameste Beautiful Indian community, is a pleasure this week.

This is 11 p.m. and people are still on their way coming back from work, I just spoke with a friend she is stuck in traffic for the past 5 hours and she will have to get home and also prepare for work tomorrow. Making money or surviving in my country is not easy at all in fact it is becoming more difficult as a day goes by. Unfortunately people outside Nigeria feels that is very easy to make money in Nigeria because we have a lot of resources and opportunities to make money what is not as easy as they think.

Yes Nigeria have large population of over 200 million making it look like there is endless demand of goods and services but despite that individual in the country has to go extra miles to learn skills and have a mindset of hustling for them to make money.

House rent is increasing by 50 to 100% per annum, foods are not cheap at all and the health system are not affordable for the poor all this makes it more difficult to live a happy life in the country.

There are many opportunities in my country to make money we have the agricultural system we also have the petty traders who struggle on daily basis to put food on their table.

Most graduate end up learning skills that will help them to earn a living instead of White collar job. To make money one have to find a niche that will help him make money some people go into food business because no matter how difficult like is the masses must eat food on daily basis.

The only way to make money in my country is by being consistent and persistent in whatever business you choose to do. The worst of it all is the fact that when one managed to set up a business the government comes up with different bills that will make a difficult for the business to grow and make more income. No matter your level of education in Nigeria surviving is not easy, it is rare to see people who save lot of money at the end of every month because there are so many bills to pay.

It requires lots of energy to make money in Nigeria. If you are an entrepreneur you have go through lot of mental stress before you be able to set up something for yourself and on daily basis you need to be thinking about something new to survive. So make it worst the government keeps bringing out rules that will make it difficult for people to earn more money.

Poor infrastructure makes it more difficult to make money in Nigeria, challenges like poor power supply has make it difficult for some business to grow and that even discourages a lot of entrepreneurs.

Of course there are countless ways to make money both in the government sector the real estate sector and businesswise but none of them is easy at all it requires lot of energy, commitment and consistency.

In summary I will say that Nigerian citizen are strong people, they survive and make money no matter what happens.
