Goodbye Summer
**AUTUMN IS FINALLY HERE**
 If we're being honest, Autumn arrived weeks ago when the weather turned windy and rainy. It did here in London anyway. The dry leaves also arrived earlier than usual, even though the later rainfalls gave the trees a kind of second-wind, so to say.9 It was my brother's birthday so the family met up in a city outside London. It was a 2-hour drive each way so I spent a good chunk of the day on the road. Driving in London has gotten remarkably worse, even for London standards, since I last drove on the M25. We've gone from the odd *crazy* or *inconsiderate* van driver, it's usually the van drivers, to outright madness on the streets. Vans, cars, motorbikes, trailers, lorries, hell even horses, have all lost their collective minds. Something has changed for sure. I like this weather though - early Autumn, the part of it that's closer to Summer. I'm not a big fan of the other side, where it becomes Winter. I have friends who absolutely love winter time and can't wait for that to arrive. Apparently there are fewer bugs and other such creepy crawlies in that season. I pointed out that viruses are kind of *bugs* too. Also, apparently, they don't like sweating. Each to their own. I'd rather sweat than shiver. Better still, somewhere in-between is perfect. Early Autumn or late Spring 👌  I'm trying to revive my photography hobby. It's been ages since I did any proper photography, especially of people. I had one session planned with a friend of mine over the weekend but had to cancel because of the winds. I also have to upgrade my camera gear and maybe even get some weather sealed stuff. That would give me more options.  I'm also looking to get back into street photography. I had some practice with some staged stuff a few weeks ago and had some fun doing it. Autumn is the best time for it with all the colours. On the not so fun end of things, I'm getting ready for winter. The rising energy costs associated with heating and lighting, the low light conditions and the psychological effects. I'm starting to stock up on Vitamin D and candles haha. On the positive end, it's Q4 soon when our income goes up as Web3 and Web2 professionals because of all the commerce done in this segment of the year. I'm looking forward to that. I'm also, already, looking forward to Summer 2026 😩 Peace & Love, *Adé*
