It was more of the same for the Phillies last night. Whole team is at fault at this point. How are we getting shut out by the freaking Marlins! Four hits in total yesterday. Yet another Phillies' starter could not reach the fifth inning. It may have been Harry Potter night at Citizens Bank Park, but there was zero magic in the air.
There's really not much else to say about the Phillies at this point in time. I read somewhere that the entire National League is essentially playing .500 baseball. So the slump is not as bad for the Phillies, but considering the Phillies are playing pretty well below .500 baseball, this detail is not as comforting as it should be.

The Phillies play the Marlins again in their short two game series. It would be seriously depressing to lose to get swept by them. Tyler Phillips hits the mound. I have slight faith in him but who knows what to expect.
It's been remarkably cool in Pennsylvania considering it's the middle of summer. It will be in the low 80's, upper seventies. Pretty perfect baseball weather.
Just get a single win Phillies, please. Gotta start somewhere!
