The Phillies bats finally woke up yesterday in a big way and the Phillies saw victory 11-9 in a pretty wild game that they almost choked away. They took an early 6-0 lead but the Nationals responded with six runs of their own in a hurry. Aaron Nola really struggled in his return and well, that's not great news at all. But in some brighter news Alec Bohm had an awesome return. He had a homer and three RBI! Also, Jhoan Durán showed he was truly not bothered by getting drilled by that line drive the other day and returned to get a huge save after the Nationals looked to try and get ANOTHER comeback late in the contest. It was a mixed bag from the Phillies but it was great to see them score well as a team.

Ranger Suárez is on the mound tonight when the Seattle Mariners come to town. Ranger has lost 2 starts in a row, hopefully he can get back on track but it won't be easy as the Mariners are looking pretty strong in 2025 with Cal Raleigh the power hitting catcher leading the way.

Should be a good one! It's quite cool in the Philly area so there will be a bit of a playoff atmosphere. I'm ready!
