**EN** Benches can be made of stone, metal, wood or even cast iron and are usually placed on busy avenues or in scenic spots. Benches are used to sit and rest, but, sometimes, original designs are created on the backs of some benches and the sunlight casts their gorgeous shadows on the ground. **ITA** Le panchine possono essere realizzate in pietra, in metallo, in legno o anche in ghisa e solitamente vengono collocate su viali affollati o in posti panoramici. Le panchine servono per sedersi a riposare, ma, a volte, sulle spalliere di alcune panchine vengono creati dei disegni originali e la luce del sole proietta le loro ombre al suolo.
