Greetings dear community, I hope you have had a wonderful weekend, I was practically almost the entire weekend at home putting some things in order; something that I loved was putting up a curtain that my mom gave me. When I called her and told her about it, she was very excited.💙💝💖

I am glad to be able to share with you again and enjoy different techniques with needles made with a lot of love, I was disconnected for a while since I was spending time with my parents, and since I returned I had not had time to do any sewing work, nor enjoy some craft made with felt; but yesterday I said it's time to sit down for a while and make that cactus that I had in mind for a while.
When I went on a trip I placed all the cacti in a corner of the apartment, and I asked my husband to take care of my babies (that's what I call my little cacti), today I was inspired by one that they call Mickey's ear, although it has grown so much that the ears already look like rabbits.🐭💝🐰
Me alegra poder volver a compartir con ustedes y disfrutar de diferentes técnicas con agujas hechas con mucho amor, estuve un tiempo desconectada ya que estaba pasando una temporada con mis padres, y desde que volví no había tenida tiempo de hacer ningún trabajo de costura, ni disfrutar de alguna manualidad elaborada con fieltro; pero ayer dije ya es hora de sentarme un rato y elaborar ese cactus que tenía en mente desde hace un tiempo.Cuando me fui de viaje coloqué todos los cactus en un rincón del apartamento, y le pedí a mi esposo que cuidara de mis bebes (así llamo a mis pequeños cactus), hoy me inspiré en uno que llaman oreja de Mickey, aunque ya ha crecido tanto que las orejitas ya parecen de conejo. 🐰💖🐭

🌵 I had scraps of 3 shades of green felt, one apple green, one leaf green, I decided on a shade that was in between the two, but in the photos it looks more blue than green, I guess it has a lot to do with the lighting and the color mix at time of manufacture. I always try to get the best out of the scraps, I keep them in separate bags depending on the size, the ones that are very small I keep to use as stuffing.
🌵 Tenía retales de 3 tonos de fieltro verde, uno verde manzana, otro verde hoja, me decidí por un tono que estaba entre los dos, pero en las fotos luce más azul que verde, supongo que tiene que ver mucho con la iluminación y con la mezcla de colores al momento de la fabricación. Siempre trato de sacarle el mejor provecho a los retales, los guardo en bolsitas separadas dependiendo del tamaño, los que son muy pequeños los guardo para utilizarlos como relleno.
🌵 My long-eared cactus had yellow thorns when it was younger, then they turned white, I wanted to recreate them in pink because they give it a touch of fantasy.
🌵 Mi cactus orejón cuando era más pequeño tenía espinas amarillas, luego se le fueron poniendo blancas, yo quise recrearlas en rosado porque le dan un toque de fantasía.
🌵 I also liked the idea of embroidering more beads around the edge when joining the pieces, although I confess that I wanted to put them yellow on the edge to make a nice contrast, but the yellow beads I had were a very light shade.😌
🌵 También me gustó la idea de bordarle más mostacillas por todo el borde al momento de unir las piezas, aunque les confieso que en el borde las quería poner amarillas para que hicieran un lindo contrate, pero las mostacillas amarillas que tenía eran de un tono muy claro. 😌
🌵 To recreate the pot, I loved the idea of putting a lot of color in it, with beads and sequins of different colors, and also adding more joy to the outline with the yellow thread, since collecting small cacti has brought moments of joy and distraction to my life.😊💖
🌵 Para recrear la maceta me encantó la idea de ponerle mucho color, con canutillos y lentejuelas de diferentes colores, y también ponerle más alegría al contorno con el hilo amarillo, ya que coleccionar pequeños cactos ha traído momentos de alegría y distracción a mi vida. 🤗🤗
🌵 My orejón cactus has never given me flowers, but my neighbor Zulay says that all cacti bloom; so I will patiently follow its flowers.🌸💖
