Today I would like to show you how you can easily prepare tasty beef nachos at home. Most of the ingredients are available at supermarkets worldwide. Nachos can also be made as a vegetarian meal, using the same ingredients as here, only without meat.
You will need:
1/2kg of minced beef
250g of kidney beans
250g of corn chips
120g of shredded cedar cheese
1 onion
25g of taco seasoning mix
25g of tomato paste
1/2 cup of coriander
1/2 cup of tomato salsa
1/2 cup of sour cream
1/2 cup of diced avocado or guacamole dip
1/4 cup of water
Some chili powder and salt
Preparation:
Cook the onion in a frying pan until it softens, then add minced beef. Keep cooking until the meat turns brown. Add kidney beans and stir well. Then add taco seasoning mix, tomato paste, coriander, chili, salt, and water. Keep stirring and cook until the mixture thickens. Remove from the stove. Place corn chips and cheese on a baking plate. Top with the mixture and bake for fifteen minutes in a pre-heated oven at 200C. Serve with avocado or guacamole dip, salsa, and sour cream. Your beef nachos are ready to enjoy. Bon appetit!
