Greetings!
Welcome to the weekly edition of my "Daily Grind" series of blogs. In the past few days, I have used the same War deck that brought me to Mythic once before the Dread Awakening was released. Surprisingly, it can still go to Solar Gold despite being out of meta.
I am still using the deck because it is swift (which I need). I don't want long games so I am sticking to the war archetype that I am using. Though it is evident that it can't keep up with the competition it is still a very fun deck to play because it can steal a game or two against meta decks.
Featured Match
In this featured match I am up against a dangerous Midrange Light deck. This is a battle of "out of meta" decks. My deck has a good winning record against this type of deck which is why I am very confident that I can win this game.

Against any Light deck I am using Engrage to mitigate the snowballing capability you Light decks.

I played Valka's Captain. My opponent played Pacifism.
2 Mana
I played enrage on Valka's Captain and I went face. My opponent played Eucos on Eclipse.
3 Mana
I played Skollhin Valkerie and Warmonger Smith, I went face. My opponent played Gariel.
4 Mana
I played Woodcutter Imp to kill Gariel. I played my god power and I went face. I got Flamecaller from the Sanctum. My opponent played Aegis of the Innocent.
5 Mana
I played Iron-tooth Goblin to destroy Aegis of the Innocent. I went face and my opponent conceded and it was GG.
