I decided to put in a 5k even though I hadn’t fully let my body recover from my 10k training a few days ago. The run came towards the end of the day and my body wasn’t at 100% so I wasn’t happy with my pace but I understand why it was what it was. I’ve definitely been taking easier on the early miles rather than pushing from the start. Once I get back into the swing of things I’d like to kick it up a gear and see how it would feel to start off with a faster pace. Just 10 days until my 10k though so looking forward to that!
