Even after just two hours of sleep (like in this photo), I'm always happy to welcome visitors to my workshop.
I love sharing a cup of coffee and perspectives with my guests or fellow artists working nearby. I'm honored to share this space with some amazing painters from the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków. We exchange perspectives, visual languages, and good times. In my opinion, this is the best part of studying in the Painting Department. These everyday moments with my fellow students - talking about art, life, or just quietly working side by side - create a sense of community that’s hard to describe. It’s in these shared spaces that ideas grow, and friendships deepen.
Sometimes, the walls of the Academy become a nest for other forms of art... unexpected, spontaneous, and often fleeting. It brings fresh energy into the space and after all remind me that creativity doesn’t always follow rules or stay within one discipline.
But don’t worry, I'm a friendly wagtail :) And here is the outcome of a year-long development in my studio: the result of many hours of painting, reflecting, and growing.
