βEvery time I walk around Jakarta, I always feel like this city has two balanced sides. On one side , skyscrapers tower majestically and sometimes feel cramped. But on the other side , there are still green spaces and cool spots. I think it can be a quick escape for those looking for healing amidst the bustling capital city of Jakarta. Well, one place that managed to make me feel at home, even to the point of wanting to return , is **Senayan Park (SPARK)**...
Maybe some people are familiar with SPARK because of its mall, but for me, the main attraction is its outdoor area. Just imagine
- a beautiful lake
- dancing fountains
- shady trees
- view from the top of the bridge offering views of the city of Jakarta
It feels like a complete package: a city park, a hangout spot, and a photo spot.
I went to SPARK in the afternoon, and honestly , it immediately gave off a different vibe. The atmosphere was cool with a gentle breeze, but it still had that irresistible Jakarta energy. So, I wanted to share my experience wandering around Senayan Park , who knows, it might inspire friends looking for a relaxing destination in Jakarta π...

**Skywalk**: The Ultimate Excitement at **SPARK**
β
βMy favorite part of **SPARK** is definitely the **skywalk**. This circular pedestrian walkway that ascends upwards allows us to see the panoramic view of Jakarta from above π€©... From the top, the cityscape unfolds expansively , with the buildings of Sudirman and its surroundings in the background. β β
I climbed , stopping occasionally to capture the stunning view amidst the bustling city... The higher I got, the more stunning the view. At several points , there were spots to sit or simply stop to enjoy the view. And honestly, the blue sky and towering buildings are a combination that never fails to amaze me π... β
βAt the end of the **skywalk** , there's a large, circular area usually used for hanging out, taking photos, and sometimes even holding events. From here, the Jakarta skyline is crystal clear... Tall buildings like Gama Tower or Wisma 46 are easily recognizable. I was in a daze for a few minutes, just enjoying the city atmosphere under the slowly drifting white clouds. β

**Photo Spots**
β
βAt the skywalk: Many people stop in the middle of the street to take photos with the cityscape in the background. Especially if the weather is clear, the results are really beautiful. β β
- At the lake: Photos with the fountain in the background are also a favorite. Especially if you take a photo from above, you can see the symmetrical fountain. β β
- Parks and green areas: Perfect for those who like natural-vibe photos with an urban touch.
- Near the "I β€οΈ ID" sign: This is a must-see spot! Lots of people line up to take photos here because it's such an iconic way to show you're at Senayan Park... β β

**Lake in the Middle of the City!**
As soon as you arrive , you'll find an artificial lake in the middle of the SPARK area... The water is quite clear , with several fountains that add a refreshing touch π... I really enjoy sitting by the lake for a while , watching the reflection of the sky and tall buildings on its surface ποΈ...
I think just sitting and relaxing while looking at the fountain feels like a short vacation. Especially if you arrive in the late afternoon , the lights around the lake start to turn on, making the atmosphere even more romantic...
The lake is also surrounded by green areas with trees and well-maintained gardens... Many families bring their children to play here, while others just take a leisurely stroll. I saw several couples busy taking photos in front of the fountain , and indeed, this spot is truly worth enjoying.
