For those who don't know, I have 6 cats (I recently adopted another after a year without adopting because one I had died and I was devastated) and those who have several animals know that vet time is not just a budget. but an organizational challenge and today, I am going to show you how I can keep all my babies' vaccines up to date without dying in the attempt.
Para quienes no lo sepan, tengo 6 gatos (Hace poco adopté otro luego de un año sin adoptar por que falleció uno que tenía y estaba destrozada) y, los que tienen varios animales saben que , la hora del veterinario, no solo es un presupuesto sino un desafío organizacional y hoy, voy a mostrarles , como hago yo para poder tener las vacunas al día de todos mis bebes sin morir en el intento.

Cats need 3 vaccines per year (Triple viral to avoid colds and respiratory problems, Rabies and Vilef that protects them against the Feline Leukemia virus). Vaccinating 6 cats is quite a challenge but not impossible if you organize well. Mine already have all the vaccines except the little one that I recently adopted, which I'm working on, and another 2 that I haven't even given the vilef vaccine since it's lacking, but since they don't go out or have contact with other cats, I'm not worried. a lot. The most important are the triple viral and rabies. Each vaccine costs around 8.33 and 9 dollars depending on which one it is. TVF is more expensive than rabies, so I will have to invest around $486 per year to vaccinate them. Impossible? Not much ha ha ha but here comes the question: How do I get 6 cats vaccinated?
Los gatos, necesitan 3 vacunas por año (Triple viral para evitar resfríos y problemas respiratorios, Rabia y Vilef que los protege contra el virus de la Leucemia felina).
Vacunar 6 gatos es todo un desafío pero nada imposible si te organizas bien. Los míos, ya tienen todas las vacunas excepto el pequeño que adopté hace poco que estoy en eso y otros 2 que no les dí aun la del vilef ya que esta en falta pero, como no salen ni tienen contacto con otros gatos, no me preocupa mucho. Las mas importantes son la triple viral y la de la rabia.
Cada vacuna cuesta alrededor de 8.33 y 9 dólares depende cual sea. La TVF es mas cara que la de la rabia así que , por año deberé invertir alrededor de 486 dólares en vacunarlos ¿Imposible? No mucho ja,ja,ja pero aquí viene la cuestión ¿Cómo llevo 6 gatos a vacunar?

First, I use a blackboard so I can keep track of who I have already given the vaccines to and which ones are missing. As you will see, they are all up to date (Except Pipo who arrived recently) and he even wrote down the deworming date because that is another important point. In July of this year, I should start the vaccination schedule again and, as they receive the jab, I tick. Luckily, by now having the boosters, the number of vaccines will be reduced to two per year.
To carry them, I think it is obvious that I do not carry them all at once but rather I carry one per day. For that, I use a super practical backpack and my bicycle. I put them there and with the bike I arrive super fast and at the same time, I get a little exercise.

Primero, me valgo de un pizarrón así llevo un control de a quien le dí ya las vacunas y cual falta. Como verán, todas están al día (Excepto Pipo que llego hace poco) y, hasta me anote la fecha de desparasitación porque ese es otro punto importante. En Julio de este año, debería comenzar de nuevo con el calendario de vacunación y, a medida que reciben el pinchazo, voy tildando. Por suerte, al ya tener los refuerzos, el numero de vacunas se vera reducido a dos por año. Para llevarlos creo que es obvio que no los llevo a todos de una vez sino que llevo uno por día. Para eso, me valgo de una mochila super practica y mi bicicleta. Los meto allí y con la bici llego super rápido y de paso, hago un poco de ejercicio. ___ ____

The backpack looks like a spaceship and draws a lot of attention but it is super practical since I don't feel the weight as much and it is comfortable for both me and them. I have another cage but it is torture to walk with it since my cats are huge, even one, he weighs 7 kilos not because he is fat but because he is giant. Each one has their own vaccination booklet that I keep in a little box so by doing these little things, you have good control and you don't go crazy trying. La mochila parece una nave espacial y llama mucho la atención pero es super practica ya que no siento tanto el peso y es cómoda tanto para mi como para ellos. Tengo otra jaula pero es una tortura caminar con ella ya que mis gatos son enormes incluso uno, pesa 7 kilos no de gordo sino por ser gigante. Cada uno tiene su propia libreta de vacunación que las guardo en una cajita así que haciendo estas cosillas, se lleva un buen control y no te vuelves loco en el intento.
