A few days ago, I was invited to a very special event, the birthday🎂 of the most intelligent and kind person I know, whom I am lucky enough to call my friend. >Holii queridos amigos de Hive y de la comunidad #Family&Friends. Espero que estén teniendo un sabroso domingo en compañía de su familia y amigos. >Hace unos días fui invitada a un evento muy especial, el cumpleaños🎂 de la persona más inteligente y humana que conozco y al que tengo la dicha de llamar amigo. 
Oscar and I met in 10th grade and graduated together, and we have been very good friends ever since. He is an occupational therapist who graduated from UCV and currently works in his field. I think he is one of the people who is most in love with his career, and his willingness to serve and help others with his knowledge is immense.
>Oscar y yo nos conocimos en 4.º año de secundaria y nos graduamos juntos, desde entonces somos muy buenos amigos. Es un terapeuta ocupacional graduado en la UCV, actualmente trabaja en su área y creo que es de las personas más enamoradas de su carrera, su voluntad para servir y ayudar desde sus conocimientos es inmensa.
We have been through good times, bad times, heartbreaks, illnesses, joys, and, of course, birthdays. We celebrated his 26th birthday,✨ which is an important date because he has been closing and opening new cycles, so it is like a birthday to celebrate his new beginning and honor his journey so far.

It was a very nice afternoon, with games (therapist after all), music, snacks, laughter, and lots of good vibes. I am very happy to see how many people came to the party, including friends from his previous jobs, college, some diploma courses, and school, as well as his family. It's nice to know and see that your friend is loved and valued by other people. I also reconnected with Miguel and Ricardo, two former high school classmates, so we took the time to catch up. It makes me laugh that both of them and Oscar chose the health field; at the party, I was almost the only one from the social sciences😅.
>Fue una tarde muy bonita, hubo juegos (terapeuta al fin), música, pasapalos, risas y muchas buenas vibras. Estoy muy feliz de ver qué tanta gente fue a la fiesta, fueron amigos de sus anteriores trabajos, de la universidad, de algunos diplomados y de la escuela, además de su familia, es bonito saber y ver que tu amigo es querido y valorado por otras personas. Además, me reencontré con Miguel y Ricardo, dos excompañeros del liceo, así que aprovechamos el tiempo para ponernos al día, me da mucha risa que tanto ellos como Oscar eligieron el área de la salud, en la fiesta era casi que la única de Ciencias Sociales😅.
Seeing him so happy and radiant made me feel very grateful for being able to see him like that and enjoy his friendship. I sincerely hope that he continues to celebrate many more years, that he continues to dream, laugh, and believe in the beautiful things in life. Above all, I hope to continue accompanying him and calling him my friend, no matter how much time passes💙.
