¡Saludos Comunidad de Hive! Para comenzar quiero contarles un poco de mi historia…
Nací hace 25 años en Venezuela, en Caracas, una ciudad caótica rodeada de un hermoso parque nacional el Ávila y llena de gente amistosa, alegre, muy trabajadora, como decimos en esta tierra "echada pa´delante”.
> Greetings Hive Community! To begin this journey, I want to tell you a bit of my story....
I was born 25 years ago in Venezuela, in Caracas, a chaotic city surrounded by the beautiful Avila National Park and full of friendly, cheerful, hard-working people, as we say in this land '*echada pa'delante*'.
Mis padres decidieron llamarme Jhosely Aimara, el primero porque era una variante de José (mi padre) y el segundo porque, bueno, a mi madre le gustaba, le parecía bonito, y las madres siempre tienen razón, o al menos la mía sí. El nombre Aimara proviene de un pueblo indígena en América del Sur que lleva el mismo nombre, o al menos eso es lo que me han contado.
>My parents decided to name me Jhosely Aimara, the first because it was a variant of José (my father) and the second because, well, my mother liked it, she thought it was pretty, and mothers are always right, or at least mine was. The name Aimara comes from an indigenous people in South America with the same name, or at least that is what I have been told.
Aimara es, un de todito, puede ser obstinada pero en sus zonas seguras demasiado alegre, amable pero extremadamente ácida, una dormilona que sueña despierta, alguien que quiere vivir aventuras pero que a la vez quiere seguir disfrutando cada segundo que pasa con sus viejitos en casa.
>Aimara is, a little bit of everything, she can be stubborn but in her safe zones too cheerful, kind but extremely acidic, a sleepyhead who daydreams, someone who wants to live adventures but at the same time wants to keep enjoying every second she spends with her old parents at home.
Desde pequeña mi entorno ha estado rodeado de música, desde la balada, la ranchera y haciendo un paseo por las chatarritas, los boleros y las llaneras entre otros géneros, lo cierto es que mi vida ha ido al son de las notas musicales. Por esta razón, estudié música desde muy pequeña, estuve en coros, clases de canto, flauta dulce, guitarra, cuatro, incluso algunas clases de saxofón, para mi tristeza, los alérgicos no tenemos mucha madera para ese espectacular instrumento de viento.
> Since I was a child my environment has been surrounded by music, from the ballad, the ranchera and taking a walk through the chatarritas, boleros and llaneras among other genres, the truth is that my life has gone to the sound of musical notes. For this reason, I studied music since I was very young, I was in choirs, singing lessons, recorder, guitar, cuatro, even some saxophone lessons, to my sadness, those of us with allergies do not have much wood for this spectacular wind instrument.
La vida da muchos giros, por eso cuando comencé la universidad decidí paralizar todos mis estudios, pero para quienes la conocen, saben que ella es una musa, no hay forma de abandonarla, nunca se separa de ti, por eso, hasta que vuelva a retomarla como merece, seguiré con ella, cantando por los pasillos, en karaokes o incluso en mi lugar de trabajo, no me importa que digan que soy una rocola andante.
>Life takes many turns, that's why when I started college I decided to stop all my studies, but for those who know her, know that she is a muse, there is no way to leave her, she never leaves you, so until I take her back as she deserves, I will continue with her, singing in the hallways, in karaokes or even in my workplace, I do not care that they say I'm a walking jukebox.
Y hablando de universidad… Hasta hace unos meses era estudiante universitaria, pasé los últimos 6 años en las aulas y los pasillos de la Universidad Central de Venezuela (UCV), formándome no solo como profesional sino como persona. Mentiría si dijera que fue un camino sencillo, pero los grandes sueños se construyen con esfuerzo.
> And speaking of university... Until a few months ago I was a university student, I spent the last 6 years in the classrooms and corridors of the Central University of Venezuela (UCV), training not only as a professional but also as a person. I would be lying if I said it was an easy path, but big dreams are built with effort.
A parte de mi formación universitaria, tuve la oportunidad de ser becada en un programa de formación que me acompañó durante gran parte de mi carrera. Bueno, decir formación es muy poco para todo lo que me brindó la Asociación Venezolano Americana de Amistad (AVAA), esta ONG tiene como uno de sus componentes es el voluntariado. Y debo decir que no hay actividad que te transforme más, te haga reflexionar y te desarrolle la empatía y la vocación de servicio como lo hace el voluntariado, una vez que lo experimentas no hay vuelta atrás eres un voluntariado para toda la vida.
>In addition to my university education, I had the opportunity to be a scholarship holder in a training program that accompanied me during most of my career. Well, to say training is too little for everything that the Venezuelan American Friendship Association (AVAA) provided me, this NGO has as one of its components is volunteering. And I must say that there is no activity that transforms you more, makes you reflect and develops empathy and vocation of service as volunteering does, once you experience it there is no turning back, you are a volunteer for life.

Sobre mis hobbies… tengo que decir que amo con locura la lectura, tengo mucha debilidad por los thrillers, la fantasía y cómo no, el romance, sin embargo, puedo leer sobre cualquier tema que me parezca interesante. Si tuviera que decir algunos de mis libros favoritos, diría la trilogía completa de Los Juegos del Hambre (los cuales andan muy sonados últimamente por sus precuelas) y un libro que se llama Sybil, escrito por Flora Rheta Schreiber en el cual se relata la historia de una chica con el trastorno de múltiples personalidades, lo leí hace casi unos 7 años, puedo releerlo y contarles un poco sobre él en otra oportunidad.
>About my hobbies... I have to say that I love reading, I have a weakness for thrillers, fantasy and of course, romance, however, I can read about any subject that I find interesting. If I had to say some of my favorite books, I would say the complete trilogy of The Hunger Games (which are very popular lately for their prequels) and a book called Sybil, written by Flora Rheta Schreiber which tells the story of a girl with multiple personality disorder, I read it almost 7 years ago, I can reread it and tell you a little about it another time.
Y si hay otra cosa que me guste, es cualquier plan que tenga que ver con viajar, la naturaleza y los animales, pero también puedo disfrutar de una obra de teatros, una fiesta, un simple encuentro entre amigos o tomar un buen café con mi madre. De eso se trata la vida, ¿no? De disfrutarla, de experimentar cosas nuevas y ver el mundo desde otras perspectivas.
>And if there is another thing I like, it is anything that has to do with traveling, nature and animals, but I can also enjoy a play, a party, a simple meeting between friends or having a good coffee with my mother. That's what life is all about, isn't it? Enjoying it, experiencing new things and seeing the world from other perspectives.
Comenzar a escribir en este blog es todo un desafío para mi, agradezco mucho a mi amiga @iuliapetit2711 por motivarme y ayudarme a dar este paso, suele darme un poco de nervios escribir o postear en redes sociales, así que creo que este blog será un buen comienzo para ir superando esas inseguridades a la vez que voy compartiendo un poco del mundo de Aimara con ustedes.
