About a year ago, my family and I went on a little vacation to a paradise island. Venezuela has its charm, I assure you. I'm not saying it has the most beautiful beaches in the world, but it has its own unique appeal. If you don't believe me, take a trip to Margarita.
>Hace un año por estas fechas, mi familia y yo nos lanzamos un viajecito de vacaciones, a una isla paradisíaca, Venezuela tiene su encanto, se los aseguro, no digo que tenga las playas más bellas del mundo, pero tiene lo suyo, y si no me cree, dense una vueltica por Margarita.
It is an island has a natural charm not only because of its beauty, but also because of its people. Margarita is the destination that every Venezuelan wants to visit at least once in their life, even if it's just for a short while, even if it's just a weekend getaway. >Como hoy es jueves de #tbt me provocó compartirles un pedacito de la isla, sus cielos y mares que en el horizonte parecen uno solo,unos rayos de sol picosos que te calientan la piel y el alma, una brisa con olor a mar que se llevan todas las pesadillas y preocupaciones, donde sus atardeceres son de un rosa intenso que le da paso a una hermosa noche estrellada, así es estar en Margarita.
 
I am a fan of taking photos of landscapes, clouds, flowers, trees, and the horizon. I also love looking at the sea, which is why all my photos try to capture even a little bit of its splendor. But don't worry, Margarita has forts, lighthouses, colonial houses, shopping centers, amusement parks, water parks, hotels, museums,mangroves and fried fish to eat by the sea, which anyone would fall in love with. In short, it's a place where it's impossible to get bored.
>Soy una fanática de tomarle fotos, a los paisajes, las nubes, flores, árboles y al horizonte, además me encanta mirar el mar, por eso todas las fotos son intentando captar aunque sea un poquito de su esplendor, pero no se asusten, en Margarita hay fortines, faros, casitas coloniales, centros comerciales, parque de diversiones, parques acuáticos, hoteles, museos, manglares y un pescadito frito para comer frente al mar, que enamora a cualquiera, en resumen, un lugar donde es imposible aburrirte.
Since then, I haven't been back to the beach, nor have I traveled again. Although a year may seem like a short time, it's not so short when you think about how important it is to visit new places, get to know where you live, regardless of whether it's Venezuela, Austria, or Japan. It's about reconnecting with yourself, with those you travel with, and rediscovering yourself. Sometimes the best ideas come when you finally disconnect your mind from your routine, your problems, and your work, when you're just sitting there listening to the waves of the sea.
>Desde esa vez, no he vuelto a la playa, ni he vuelto a viajar, aunque un año parezca poco, no lo es tanto cuando piensas en lo importante que es salir a lugares nuevos, conocer el lugar donde vives, indistintamente de cual sea, Venezuela, Austria o Japón,se trata de reconectar contigo mismo, con quienes viajas, y redescubrirte, a veces las mejores ideas vienen cuando por fin se desconecta la mente de tu rutina, de los problemas y del trabajo, cuando solo estas ahí sentado escuchando las olas del mar.
