Hi lovely family, I hope we are all doing fine. Still @hiveghana weekly engagement, week 125. I am so excited I would be sharing my entry on how inspirational hive has been to me. I joined hive community a year ago through my friend @kingsleyy When he told me about hive community, I immediately showed interest but we both knew it would be somehow challenging to me because of my limited knowledge on how to navigate technically online; the downloads, opening of account, managing of keys, getting familiar with app interface, knowing about communities, to writing in an acceptable way seemed so challenging.
Prior to the time I joined hive community, I wasn't on discord, wasn't sociable. I was just that version of myself. But thanks to God, my friend @kingsleyy didn't give up on me, even though we are in different states, so far from each other. He thoroughly put me through. In fact, I did alot of learning.
Hive really gave me that platform to learn. I started navigating, knowing new things each day. I got to know about different apps and fronteds such as ecency, inleo, peaked and lots more. I got used to their interface. I started navigating things on my own. I got so better day by day. The greatest of all is writing. Yes, hive has sharpened my writing skill. I never thought I could write so well. In fact, I spent days before I could write my introductory post, I was so scared. I didn't just know how to put my thoughts together. I just wrote it eventually. With hive, everything is different now. Writing is now part of me. I find it no longer difficult to put my thoughts together in writing.
You know, it's not only about writing but also reading. Hive made me realize that reading and writing are both communication skills, that while writing is productive, reading is receptive. Through hive platform, I learnt about intertextuality. Sometimes when I'm blank, I just go through people's writings and read. Surprisingly, I get filled with ideas, imaginations and thoughts that in turn birth my own expressions. Yes, that's how inspirational this platform has been to me.
The most cherishing of all is the opportunity to meet new people and be more sociable. No one flourishes in isolation. Through hive and its platform, especially in hiveghana community, I have known so many great people, who have impacted me so well in their writings and words of encouragement. Their comments, votes and all have been my source of inspiration to press on. In fact, I will say hive is so inspirational to me. Yes, having given me the platform to grow and be better. Hive still rewards my efforts financially and encourages me to do more. What an inspiration! Thank you HIVE!
