I am excited to share with you a mixed media drawing I recently completed, which combines pencils and color pencils on paper. The artwork features a young woman smiling radiantly under the intense sunlight.
To initiate the drawing, I began by creating a sketch using graphite and subsequently shaded it with charcoal and graphite pencils. Capturing the reflection of the sun on the image proved to be a challenge, but not an insurmountable one.
Upon perfecting the drawing, I proceeded to darken the reflection areas to differentiate them from the parts affected by light, until I achieved the desired image. I hope you will appreciate it.
