It is often said that marriages are made in heaven. But this is not true. Marriages are often driven by social status and financial status. That's why people check social status, financial status and physique of their would be partner. If marriages were made in heaven, there would have been no divorces, no alimonies and no betrayals in married life.

In the older time women were the sufferers. But this has changed now. In the modern time woman have become very clever and marriage is the way for them to secure their life. She wish to marry a man who is attractive and have a good fortune. Yes, exceptions are there but they are very few compared to the vast population.

Woman gets a life partner who may fulfil her wish. She can never accept that her husband has lost his financial stability and social status. It's a way of becoming financially secure for her. It's a long term investment. She gets a free house, free luxuries and a person whom she can curse whenever he fails to deliver. I may sound misogamist but this doesn't change the reality. If you have any doubt just see the men who have lost their job or business and forced to live a humble life. Such men are despised by women. Even if a man is financially strong, he may be dumped by the woman whom he had loved so much. He will have to lose a large part of his property in paying for alimony, in addition to a broken heart.

A beautiful woman has full confidence that many men will come forward to accept her. So, she is always in a search of finding better options. She rejects many offers and chose someone whom she thinks fit. She always wish to have an excellent wardrobe, go on tours, have dinners in luxurious restaurant and do whatever she likes. On the other hand man wishes respect, love and a good family. He is the slave of his sexual desires which ultimately fizzle out with time. So, taking so much risk for sexual pleasure is very bad for him.

I have seen single men living in a single room, having pleasant life. But when a woman enters in his life, he have to work hard, earn more and more and live like a slave to feed his family. His whole life spends in working for the money so that he may satisfy his woman. It becomes impossible for him to resign from the unpleasant job.

Women who are sincere have to face the similar problem. If she really wish to live with a man who loves her, she gets disappointment most of the time. Many such men are abusive and toxic. They don't respect such women. This is the sad reality of modern married life. I may be wrong but trends support such observations.

Therefore, it becomes very important to chose a right person as life partner. There is no use of taking risk and make your life a hell.
