Hola comunidad ;) ...! Hoy quiero contarles sobre algo muy útil en Ecency que quizá muchos pasan por alto, y son los Puntos Ecency. Si usas Ecency desde hace tiempo o apenas estás empezando, entender cómo funcionan te puede hacer la vida muchísimo más fácil y productiva. Los Puntos Ecency son, básicamente, recompensas que da la plataforma cada vez que hacemos algo dentro de ella, como por ejemplo: * Cuando votas publicaciones, * Si publicas contenido nuevo, * Cuando comentas en otros posts, entre otras. Lo mejor de todo es que estos puntos no son para que se quedan ahí acumulados, sino que podemos usarlos para cosas bastante útiles dentro de la plataforma, como impulsar tus publicaciones o aumentar tu poder de voto. Es decir, puedes crecer más rápido y tener más impacto en la comunidad. En este tutorial te voy a explicar, sin tanto rollo, cómo ganar puntos, cómo verlos en tu cuenta y cómo usarlos para sacarle provecho de verdad a Ecency. **Vamos al grano.** ------ >## **¿Como ganar puntos Ecency?** La verdad es que ganar Puntos Ecency es muy fácil, solo tienes que ser activo en la plataforma y aprovechar todas las opciones que tienes, como por ejemplo votar, publicar o comentar, así empiezas a sumar puntos. A continuación te explico cómo funciona cada cosa:  **1 •** Cuando publicas algo nuevo te llevas 15 puntos. Así que mientras más publiques más puntos vas a obtener. **2 •** Por cada comentario que realices sumas 5 puntos. Fácil y rápido ¿cierto?. **3 •** Tu voto también cuenta, por cada voto que des ganas 0.01 puntos del valor de tu voto. Aunque parezca poco mientras mas apoyas mas vas sumando. **4 •** Al rebloguear una publicación te llevas 1 punto. Así que si algo te gustó compártelo y ganas puntos al mismo tiempo. **5 •** Solo por registrarte en Ecency inicias con 0.25 puntos. No está nada mal para comenzar. **6 •** Cada vez que inicies sesión, sumas 10 puntos. O sea, solo por entrar ya estás sumando. **7 •** Si eres constante y participas seguido, tienes muchas probabilidades de recibir 10 puntos adicionales por ser usuario activo. **8 •** Si delegas 1000 HP, Ecency te recompensará con 100 puntos diarios. Esto es clave si tu intención es aumentar tu poder de voto lo más rápido posible. **9 •** Y si creas una comunidad y publicas desde ahí, te dan 20 puntos por cada publicación que hagas desde tu comunidad. Como ves, hay muchas formas de sumar puntos. El secreto está en ser constante y aprovechar al máximo cada oportunidad. ------------- >## **¿Dónde ver los puntos que vas ganando?** Ahora que ya sabes cómo se ganan los puntos, toca ver dónde se reflejan. Porque de nada sirve estar sumando si no sabes cuánto llevas o donde están ¿cierto?. Para ver tus puntos tienes que ir directo a tu cartera en Ecency. Es bastante sencillo. Primero, entras a tu cuenta...  Y al desplegarse el panel de opciones das click donde dice Cartera.  Al entrar a la opción de cartera vas a ver varias cosas, pero lo que nos interesa en este tutoríal está en la parte que dice Ecency. Te explico lo que vas a encontrar ahí:  **1 • Puntos no reclamados.** Esto es importante. A veces ganas puntos, pero todavía no están disponibles para usarse porque no los has reclamado. Si ves que tienes puntos no reclamados, te va a aparecer un recuadro azul. Solo tienes que darle click y automáticamente esos puntos se suman a tu balance y ya los puedes usar. **2 • Ecency Points.** Aquí se muestra la cantidad total de puntos que tienes disponibles hasta el momento. Básicamente, lo que está disponible para gastar o usar dentro de la plataforma. **3 • Valor de puntos estimado.** Esta parte te muestra cuánto valen tus puntos en dólares ($). Es solo una referencia porque el valor estimado cambia dependiendo del valor de compra de los puntos en ese momento. O sea, no es un valor fijo, pero te da una idea de cuánto valen tus puntos en dinero real. **4 • Historial.** Aquí vas a encontrar el detalle de todo lo que ha pasado con tus puntos. Te muestra cuántos puntos has ganado por cada acción (votar, comentar, publicar, etc.), cuántos has gastado y en qué los has usado. Así puedes llevar un control claro de cómo vas manejando tus puntos. Lo bueno es que el sistema es bastante claro, así que con solo echarle un vistazo ya vas a tener una idea de cómo vas sumando y gastando tus puntos. A continuación te explico cómo usar esos puntos para sacarle el máximo provecho. ------------- >## **¿Cómo usar los Puntos Ecency?** Ok ya tienes tus puntos en tu cartera, pero….¿qué puedes hacer con ellos?. Aquí es donde viene la parte divertida. Lo bueno de Ecency es que esos puntos no son solo para que se vean bonitos, realmente tienen un valor y puedes usarlos para mejorar tu experiencia y alcance en la plataforma. Déjame y te cuento cómo. Una de las formas más comunes de usar los puntos es para promocionar tus publicaciones. Si tienes un post que te gustaría que mucha gente lo vea, puedes usar tus puntos para promocionarlo. Solo debes dar click en el botón de Comprar Ventajas (Perks).  Luego vas a dar click en la sección de Promociona tu post.  Se desplegará un cuadro donde verás tus puntos disponible, en la opción Publicación, debes escoger el post que quieres promocionar y donde dice Duración es donde vas a seleccionar la cantidad de puntos que quieres usar y por cuántos días lo quieres promocionar.  Por ejemplo por 150 puntos puedes promocionar tu publicación por todo un día, esto ayuda un montón para que más personas lo vean y así recibir más interacciones. Existe otra ruta para promocionar un post, y para mi es la más fácil, al ir a los tres puntos que se encuentran al lado de cada publicación y dar click allí se abrirá un submenú donde encontrarás la opción de promocionar.  Cuando hagas esto se desplegará el cuadro de promoción con la gran diferencia de que en el apartado de Publicación ya estará cargada la dirección de la publicación que seleccionaste, solo tendrás que elegir la cantidad de puntos y los días que quieres promocionar.  Ahora volvamos y revisemos rápidamente las otras opciones que tenemos y para que sirven.  **1 • Comprar puntos**. Si quieres aumentar tu saldo de puntos rápidamente, esta es la opción ideal ya que puedes comprarlos directamente desde la aplicación de Ecency. Esto te ayuda a mejorar tu compromiso y a tener más opciones para impulsar tu contenido. Pero el proceso para comprarlos lo dejamos para otro tutorial, porque se merece una explicación bien detallada. **2 • Impulsar la cuenta.** Puedes usar esta opción de compra dentro de la app para adquirir más poder de voto y aumentar tu influencia. Esta es una forma muy rápida de crecer dentro de Ecency, **3 • Impulsar +.** Esta opción está supergenial porque con solo un par de clicks puedes intercambiar tus Puntos Ecency por HP. Esto, básicamente, te da más poder de voto y te permite hacer más cosas dentro de la plataforma. Es una manera rápida y directa de sacarle provecho a tus puntos. Así que como puedes ver los Puntos Ecency no son solo para acumular. The truth is that earning Ecency points is very easy. You just have to be active on the platform and take advantage of all the options available, such as voting, posting, or commenting, and then you'll start earning points.

Here's how each option works:

1 • When you post something new, you get 15 points. So, the more you post, the more points you'll earn.

2 • For each comment you make, you earn 5 points. Easy and quick, right?

Where can I see the points I'm earning?

Now that you know how to earn points, it's time to see where they're reflected. Because there's no point in adding points if you don't know how many you have or where they are, right?

To see your points, you have to go directly to your wallet in Ecency. It's quite simple.

First, log in to your account...

When the options panel opens, click on Wallet.

When you enter the wallet option, you'll see several things, but what interests us in this tutorial is the section that says Ecency.

I'll explain what you'll find there:

1 • Unclaimed points. This is important. Sometimes you earn points, but they're not yet available to use because you haven't claimed them. If you see that you have unclaimed points, a blue box will appear. Just click on it, and those points are automatically added to your balance, ready for use.

2 • Ecency Points. This shows the total number of points you have available so far. Basically, what's available to spend or use within the platform.

3 • Estimated Points Value. This section shows you how much your points are worth in dollars ($). It's only a reference because the estimated value changes depending on the purchase value of the points at that time. In other words, it's not a fixed value, but it gives you an idea of ​​how much your points are worth in real money.

4 • History. Here you'll find details of everything that has happened to your points. It shows you how many points you've earned for each action (voting, commenting, posting, etc.), how many you've spent, and what you've used them for. This way, you can keep a clear track of how you're managing your points.

The good thing is that the system is quite clear, so just by glancing at it, you'll have an idea of ​​how you're earning and spending your points.

How ​​to use Ecency Points?

Okay, you already have your points in your wallet, but... what can you do with them? This is where the fun part comes.

The great thing about Ecency is that those points aren't just for looks; they actually have value, and you can use them to improve your experience and reach on the platform.

Let me tell you how.

One of the most common ways to use points is to promote your posts. If you have a post you'd like a lot of people to see, you can use your points to promote it.

Just click the Buy Perks button.

Then you'll click on the Promote your post section.

A box will appear where you'll see your available points. In the Post option, choose the post you want to promote. Where it says Duration is where you'll select the number of points you want to use and how many days you want to promote it for.

For example, for 150 points you can promote your post for an entire day. This helps a lot so more people see it and thus receive more interactions.

There is another way to promote a post, and for me it's the easiest: go to the three dots next to each post and click there. A submenu will open where you will find the promote option.

When you do this, the promotion box will appear. The main difference is that the Publication section will already have the address of the publication you selected loaded. You'll just have to choose the number of points and the days you want to promote.

Now let's go back and quickly review the other options we have and what they're for.

1 • Buy points. If you want to quickly increase your point balance, this is the ideal option since you can buy them directly from the Ecency app.

2 • Boost your account. You can use this in-app purchase option to gain more voting power and increase your influence. This is a very quick way to grow within Ecency.

3 • Boost +. This option is super cool because with just a couple of clicks, you can exchange your Ecency Points for HP. This basically gives you more voting power and allows you to do more things within the platform.

It's a quick and direct way to get the most out of your points.
