Dear Friends, On 5th Feb 2022, we celebrated sarawati puja. it is the Birth day of Goddess saraswati. We worshiped Goddess Saraswati on that day. Goddess Sarada or Saraswati is one of the goddess of Hindu culture. Goddess Saraswati is the wife of the one of the most promising Hindu God Brahma. In the eastern part of the India, almost all Hindu people celebrate Goddess Saraswati Puja. Basically all children worship saraswati in the schools, colleges and all other educational institutes. Generally we celebrate Saraswati Puja every year on the day of Basanta Panchami or Sri Panchami. According to Hindu calendar, we celebrate Basanta panchami in each year on the panchami thithi, on the 5th day of sukla pakshaya, in the month of Magha (spring). As per Hindu mythology, Goddess Saraswati was born on that day. Generally we worship Goddess Saraswati for learning, music and the art. As we believe, once we worship her, we will gain the knowledge and wisdom. On the occasion of Saraswati puja, we prepared Arisa pitha(rice cake) for offering the prassad. It is our traditional custom to use this pithas as prasad. We also use different kind of fruits, and sweets as a prasad. we choos this pithas, because we can easily store for many days without help of any refrigerator. It is a delicious sweet dish. Once you eat, you will love it. So here we shared the process of making of Arisa Pitha (Jaggery Rice Cake) and the ingredients were required to it.
