Hello amazing people of the Vibes Community. I’m back again with my humble thoughts on the just-concluded competition of the 39th edition. It’s always so refreshing to see incredible talents show up every week to display their musical gifts. Just when I think a week’s performances cannot be outdone, the next edition comes along and completely amazes me. Vibes is truly a community where raw musical abilities are nurtured, and I genuinely enjoy scrolling through the weekly performances.

In this review, after going through several entries, one particular performance truly captured my heart. When I encountered it, I was both amazed and delighted to see such brilliance within the Vibes community. And that credit goes to @bigsteff. The name itself speaks volumes, and his performance proves it. His vocals are pure, his lyrics are powerful and meaningful, and the delivery was nothing short of excellent.
I must confess, I’ve never really been a big fan of rap. But with the recent performances in the Vibes community, especially from Bigsteff, I’m beginning to genuinely appreciate and even fall in love with rap music. His original hip-hop piece, coupled with his outstanding delivery, left me in awe. The song itself carries a deep message, demonstrating how he was once shackled and how God came through for him in the most unexpected way. That message alone is enough to inspire anyone to rise, hold on to faith, and trust in God, who is always present and willing to step in for those who love Him.
Beyond the lyrics, the overall performance was outstanding. His body movement, facial expressions, and crystal-clear vocals made the song even more impactful. Every word was audible and precise, leaving no need for additional lyrics on screen. He is indeed a talented rapper, and in my opinion, he deserves a spot among the top winners.
