Desde la primera vez que la escuché, me atrapó esa mezcla de soledad y esperanza que transmite. Quise llevarla al piano porque siento que este instrumento tiene esa capacidad de hacerla todavía más personal. Cuando la tocas sin voz, solo con las teclas, parece que cada nota hablara directamente desde dentro, como si fueran pensamientos que se escapan sin filtro. El piano le da un aire más íntimo, como estar en una habitación a oscuras, con la ventana abierta, y dejar que la música sea el único lenguaje.
Mientras la interpretaba, no buscaba hacerla idéntica a la original, sino dejar que fluyera, que respirara. Hay silencios que dicen tanto como las notas, y esa es la magia de este tema: no es solo la melodía, sino lo que te despierta por dentro. A veces la siento como un grito disfrazado de susurro, un pedido de compañía en medio de la distancia.
Lo lindo de tocar “Talking to the Moon” es que cada persona que la escuche va a darle su propio significado. Para algunos puede ser amor, para otros soledad, para otros un recuerdo que no se suelta. Y eso es lo que más me emociona: que la música tiene esa libertad de pertenecerle a todos.
