I really wanted to take some time for myself, I really needed it, a break from everything, including drawing. I needed to relax so I could think clearly about the things to come, and although I haven't completely figured it all out yet, I am more relaxed, more confident, and more motivated to get back to my normal routine. This time I'm not leaving, haha! 😭💟 ♡ LET'S GET DOWN TO BUSINESS! Today I want to share with you the latest drawing I worked on, one of Dandadan with Momo and Okarun as the main characters! Although we also have Turbo granny haha. I loved drawing the characters, and even though I'm not entirely convinced by the fanart yet, I still wanted to share it here, so let's get to it! 👽✨₊ ⊹✧˚.

Tenía muchas ganas de dedicarme tiempo a mí misma, lo necesitaba de verdad, un descanso de todo, incluido el dibujo. Necesitaba relajarme para poder pensar con claridad en lo que está por venir y, aunque todavía no lo tengo todo claro, estoy más relajada, más segura y más motivada para volver a mi rutina habitual. ♡ ¡MANOS A LA OBRA! Hoy quiero compartir con vosotros el último dibujo en el que he trabajado, uno de Dandadan con Momo y Okarun como protagonistas. Aunque también tenemos a Turboabuela, jaja. Me encantó dibujar a los personajes y, aunque todavía no estoy del todo convencida con el fanart, quería compartirlo aquí, ¡así que vamos allá! 👽✨₊ ⊹✧˚.
I have to say that DANDADAN is an AMAZING anime! 🌟 I've been following it since the manga, and the truth is that it really hooked me at first sight. In my opinion, it has everything it needs to be an incredible anime. It has wonderful characters full of personality, amazing scenes, and such a CAPTIVATING romantic comedy vibe 😭💓. It has a great foundation in every aspect, which is why it has become one of my favorite anime! ♡ I wanted to draw Momo and Okarun. I had drawn them before, but this time I wanted to do something really cool, with a lot of dynamism, a lot of color, and a lot of movement. To make this drawing, I was very inspired by the rhythm of the song “Chapstick” by Coin. It's an incredible song that I thought fit SO well with the dynamics of Dandadan, so you'll definitely see a few nods to that song in the fan art! ✩💜₊˚.⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧
¡Tengo que decir que DANDADAN es un anime INCREÍBLE! 🌟 Lo sigo desde el manga y la verdad es que me enganchó desde el primer momento. En mi opinión, tiene todo lo necesario para ser un anime increíble. Cuenta con personajes maravillosos llenos de personalidad, escenas increíbles y un ambiente de comedia romántica muy CAUTIVADOR 😭💓. Tiene una base estupenda en todos los aspectos, ¡por eso se ha convertido en uno de mis animes favoritos! ♡
Quería dibujar a Momo y Okarun. Ya los había dibujado antes, pero esta vez quería hacer algo realmente genial, con mucho dinamismo, mucho color y mucho movimiento. Para hacer este dibujo, me inspiré mucho en el ritmo de la canción «Chapstick» de Coin. Es una canción increíble que me pareció que encajaba MUY bien con la dinámica de Dandadan, ¡así que seguro que veréis algunas referencias a esa canción en el fan art! ✩💜₊˚.⋆☾⋆⁺₊✧
Okay, for reference, IT WAS CHAOS HAHAHA 😭 I couldn't really find a specific reference for what I wanted to do, something with a captivating dynamic between the two characters, so I used these two images as a reference for the poses. Let's get started! 💜 As I always like to mention for those who haven't seen my blog, the program I use to make all my drawings is Clip Studio Paint, and I draw with a graphics tablet, a GAOMON S620! ♡ I started with the sketch, first drawing Okarun and then Momo, and I made them in different layers in case I had to adjust something individually. Lately, I've changed the brush I use for sketching, but it's not really that different, so I don't think it matters much! 🛸🫐‧₊˚ ☁️⋅♡𓂃 ࣪🪻 ִֶָ☾.
¡Empecemos! 💜 Como siempre me gusta mencionar para aquellos que no han visto mi blog, el programa que utilizo para hacer todos mis dibujos es Clip Studio Paint, y dibujo con una tableta gráfica, ¡una GAOMON S620! ♡ Empecé con el boceto, dibujando primero a Okarun y luego a Momo, y los hice en capas diferentes por si tenía que ajustar algo individualmente. Últimamente he cambiado el pincel que utilizo para esbozar, pero no es muy diferente, así que no creo que importe mucho. 🛸🫐‧₊˚ ☁️⋅♡𓂃 ࣪🪻 ִֶָ☾.
Once the sketch was ready, I moved on to the line art! ♡ I felt more comfortable with the result of Momo's sketch, so I started with her first. I really LOVED Momo's expression, she looks so cute 😭💓 In this part of the line art, I also drew a little draw of Turbo Granny to accompany them. I really liked how it turned out; the glasses add so much to the style that Turbo Granny ALREADY HAS LOL. Finally, I did Okarun. In this part of the line art, I took the opportunity to fix some things that I didn't like about Okarun, such as the legs, which were horrible, so I changed them and I liked them. I added some objects to the surroundings to give the impression that they are floating, and finally, some last details! 💜👽🔮👾☁️
Una vez que el boceto estuvo listo, ¡pasé al line art! ♡ Me sentí más cómoda con el resultado del boceto de Momo, así que empecé por ella. Me ENCANTÓ la expresión de Momo, es tan mona 😭💓 En esta parte del dibujo lineal, también dibujé un pequeño boceto de Turbo Granny para acompañarlas. Me gustó mucho cómo quedó; las gafas le dan mucho estilo al que Turbo Granny YA TIENE LOL. Por último, hice a Okarun. En esta parte del line art, aproveché para arreglar algunas cosas que no me gustaban de Okarun, como las piernas, que eran horribles, así que las cambié y me gustaron. Añadí algunos objetos al entorno para dar la impresión de que flotan y, por último, ¡algunos detalles finales! 💜👽🔮👾☁️
Once I was satisfied with the line art, I moved on to the base colors! ♡ For the base colors, I always paint the entire drawing in a single color first and then add the base colors on top. I do this so that the base colors I add later don't go outside the lines of what I've already painted, which saves me a lot of time 🌟 Then I added the base colors, doing about a thousand layers for them, ha ha ha. For the skin, hair, and clothes, I always like to keep that kind of order so I don't get confused! ⋆｡‧˚ʚ🔮ɞ˚‧｡⋆

Momo's render! 🛸♡
I started by rendering Momo first! 💟I really loved how her main drawing turned out, so I really enjoyed rendering her. I started with her skin first, adding blush, light shadows, and stronger shadows in the appropriate areas. After the skin, I moved on to rendering the hair, which is my favorite part of the whole rendering process. I honestly love how the texture turns out and the little highlights and details I add. Then I rendered the clothes, using a dry watercolor brush to add the shadows. I'm not an expert at rendering clothes, so this brush makes my work a lot easier. I like to add those little details and hearts throughout the drawing, which I've adopted as something very characteristic of my style ✨💓. Finally, I rendered Turbo Granny, which I absolutely loved how it turned out. I added a slight purple lighting to both of them to set the mood a little more. With that, I had finished rendering Momo! 🌸👽🎵.𖥔 ݁ ˖🎶๋࣭ ⭑👾
¡Empecé por renderizar a Momo primero! 💟Me encantó cómo quedó su dibujo principal, así que disfruté mucho renderizándola. Empecé primero por su piel, añadiendo rubor, sombras ligeras y sombras más intensas en las zonas adecuadas. Después de la piel, pasé a renderizar el pelo, que es mi parte favorita de todo el proceso de renderización. Sinceramente, me encanta cómo queda la textura y las pequeñas luces y detalles que añado. Luego rendericé la ropa, utilizando un pincel de acuarela seco para añadir las sombras. No soy una experta en renderizar ropa, así que este pincel me facilita mucho el trabajo. Me gusta añadir esos pequeños detalles y corazones por todo el dibujo, que he adoptado como algo muy característico de mi estilo ✨💓. Por último, rendericé a Turbo Granny, y me encantó cómo quedó. Añadí una ligera iluminación púrpura a ambos para crear un poco más de ambiente. Con eso, ¡había terminado de renderizar a Momo! 🌸👽🎵.𖥔 ݁ ˖🎶๋࣭ ⭑👾

Finally, it was time to render Okarun! 💟 I repeated practically the same process, first the skin with blush, characteristic details, and shadows, then the hair with lighting and cute little details, and finally the clothes with shadows, lights, and shades. I also added those little touches of purple lighting to Okarun. Okarun is my favorite character from the anime, so I rendered him with a lot of love haha 😭🌟🖤 I really liked how he turned out, I think I captured both of their personalities well, but Okarun looks three times more adorable than he already is 👽 ༘⋆📼˚ ༘ ೀ⋆｡˚
¡Por fin llegó el momento de renderizar a Okarun! 💟 Repetí prácticamente el mismo proceso: primero la piel con rubor, detalles característicos y sombras; luego el cabello con iluminación y pequeños detalles bonitos; y, por último, la ropa con sombras, luces y matices. También añadí esos pequeños toques de iluminación púrpura a Okarun. Okarun es mi personaje favorito del anime, así que lo rendericé con mucho amor, jaja 😭🌟🖤 Me gustó mucho cómo quedó, creo que capturé bien la personalidad de ambos, pero Okarun se ve tres veces más adorable de lo que ya es 👽 ༘⋆📼˚ ༘ ೀ⋆｡˚
The only thing left to do was decorate the entire space, so I started adding decorative elements, added an adorable spaceship, painted the headphones, and added details here and there, drawing a little inspiration from the dynamics of the song I mentioned earlier. I think decorating the background and the drawing is my favorite part of digital Fanart! 🌸
Lo único que quedaba por hacer era decorar todo el espacio, así que empecé a añadir elementos decorativos, añadí una adorable nave espacial, pinté los auriculares y añadí detalles aquí y allá, inspirándome un poco en la dinámica de la canción que mencioné anteriormente. ¡Creo que decorar el fondo y el dibujo es mi parte favorita del Fanart digital! 🌸
