It's been a long while, photography lovers. I hope you are doing great and enjoying this autumn season. I've been much less productive with my photography these last few months mainly due to lack of free time and so consequently I stopped writing as well. Anyway, it's always good to be back here, it's been almost ten years of me on this game-changing platform.
October is probably my favorite month for photography. When trees are still holding onto half of their leaves that are turning gold and red, and the cold air is almost visible. It's peak autumn with vibrant yet muted colors, rain-soaked streets and beautiful dimmed light all day. Even if I don't end up capturing some magical photos, the walk itself is soothing and enjoyable for the senses.
When you are in Belgrade, there's no better spot to feel the autumn vibe than in Kalemegdan park. Fortress walls, tall trees and cobblestones give it the old, medieval look and it's especially beautiful when the leaves cover the ground. As that quote by Camus says: "Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower."
And you can see how people walk much more slowly and mindfully, this is the time to feel more and be present, to enjoy a coffee, a good book or a company of a friend. I hope you enjoy the photos.
