Hello!!!

Chicos de Nuevo Yo, esta vez voy a seguir contándoles acerca de lo que fue mi primer viaje en moto hacia las costas venezolanas.

Hey guys, this time I'm going to continue telling you about my first motorcycle trip to the Venezuelan coast.

Como ya les conté anteriormente, nosotros nos dirigimos desde Barinas hasta Aragua/ Venezuela, específicamente a las playas de Cuyagua y Bahía de Cata, que fueron los dos lugares como destino.

As I mentioned earlier, we traveled from Barinas to Aragua, Venezuela, specifically to the beaches of Cuyagua and Bahía de Cata, which were our two destinations.

Como dije en el post anterior, les había comentado que llegamos en las horas de la noche a la playa de Cuyagua. Allí pude ver muchas cosas diferentes, como son carpas con aire acondicionado incluido, que es algo que me pareció bien chistoso. Bueno, nunca había visto algo así, pero me imagino que las personas al hacer tanto camping quieren cada vez más tener mucha más comodidad y por eso eligen estas opciones para poder pasar tiempo en la naturaleza, pero de manera amena.

As I mentioned in my previous post, we arrived at Cuyagua Beach late at night. There, I saw many different things, such as tents with air conditioning, which I found quite amusing. Well, I had never seen anything like that before, but I imagine that people who camp so much want more and more comfort, so they choose these options to be able to spend time in nature, but in a pleasant way.

Al llegar a Cuyagua, la verdad nos costó bastante estacionar las motos porque no había sitio. Era fin de semana, había mucha gente, muchos lugares apartados, y pues tuvimos que prácticamente maniobrar y conseguir un lugar para poder colocar nuestras motos y poder instalar las carpas porque estaba lleno de vehiculos.

When we arrived in Cuyagua, it was really difficult to park our motorcycles because there was no space. It was the weekend, there were lots of people, lots of remote places, and we practically had to maneuver to find a place to park our motorcycles and set up our tents because it was full of vehicles.

Note: I recommend visiting Cuyagua, but it's much better to go on weekdays to enjoy a little more peace and quiet.

Como dije anteriormente, allí en esta playa te encuentras de todo. Hay gente que quiere disfrutar de la naturaleza, escuchar el mar, las olas, el viento, de la arena. Pero hay personas que van netamente a disfrutar en fiesta, jeje, a tomar, a bailar, a compartir con amigos.

As I said before, you can find everything on this beach. There are people who want to enjoy nature, listen to the sea, the waves, the wind, the sand. But there are also people who go there purely to party, hehe, to drink, dance, and hang out with friends.

Y pues sí, por una parte, había gente que hacía mucha bulla, que se escuchaba cantando, gritando. Y otra gente que estaba relajada a la orilla de la playa viendo el atardecer. Todo muy distinto, ambas caras de la moneda en el mismo sitio, pero bueno, se puede disfrutar de ambas.

And yes, on the one hand, there were people making a lot of noise, singing and shouting. And other people who were relaxing on the beach watching the sunset. It was all very different, two sides of the same coin in the same place, but hey, you can enjoy both.

Allí puedes comprar tu comida o si prefieres, está la opción de que lleves tus alimentos y prepares tu comida; lo cual es una forma de ahorrar más dinero. Bueno, nosotros llevamos para hacer nuestra comida, pero se nos olvidó lo más importante, ¡¡¡El pan!!! Así que tuvimos que resolver y comernos unos perros calientes en la playa a tres dólares, que fue lo que conseguimos por allí.

There you can buy your food, or if you prefer, you can bring your own food and prepare your meals, which is a way to save more money. Well, we brought food to make our own meals, but we forgot the most important thing: bread! So we had to improvise and eat hot dogs on the beach for three dollars, which was all we could find there.

También aprovechamos, nos tomamos unas cervecitas en un lugar muy cool, muy tranquilito, había música chévere y por supuesto un combo de 9 Cervezas x 6 dólares, así que sí que era el mejor sitio jeje.

We also took advantage of the opportunity to have a few beers in a very cool, very quiet place. There was great music and, of course, a combo of 9 beers for $6, so it really was the best place, haha.

Luego de las cervezas, recorrimos la playa, por mi parte nunca había visto la paya de noche, y fue otra experiencia; nos dormimos aproximadamente a las 11 pm, ya que estábamos agotados por el viaje.

After the beers, we walked along the beach. I had never seen the beach at night before, and it was a whole new experience. We fell asleep around 11 p.m., as we were exhausted from the trip.

A la mañana siguiente, si aprovechamos definitivamente para poder tomar fotos como les dije (todas las fotos anteriores las tome en la mañana), llegamos tarde/noche y no dio lugar de tomar muchas fotos.

The next morning, we definitely took advantage of the opportunity to take photos, as I mentioned (I took all the previous photos in the morning). We arrived late at night, so there wasn't much time to take photos.

Luego de tomar muchas fotos, fuimos a comer en este lugar que nos parece espectacular, miren nada más el tamaño de esas empanadas!!! Cada empanada salía en 3 dólares, pero les juro que son los mejores 3 dólares gastados en una empanada que pude haber gastado el tamaño y el relleno está superincreíble yo me pedí una de Cazón obviamente no podía perder la oportunidad de probar esta empanada que es una de las tradicionales en toda la costa venezolana.

After taking lots of photos, we went to eat at this place that we think is spectacular. Just look at the size of those empanadas! Each empanada cost $3, but I swear they are the best $3 I have ever spent on an empanada. The size and filling are incredible. I ordered one with dogfish, obviously I couldn't miss the opportunity to try this empanada, which is one of the traditional ones along the Venezuelan coast.

Ya con las baterías puestas, empezamos a desarmar las carpas, nos dimos un buen baño en la playa porque recuerden que la travesía no paraba solamente en Cuyagua, sino que íbamos a Bahía de Cata a quedarnos en un apartamento que habíamos reservado con anterioridad.

With the batteries in place, we began to take down the tents and enjoyed a refreshing swim at the beach. Remember, the journey didn't end in Cuyagua; we were going to Bahía de Cata to stay in an apartment we had booked in advance.

Pusimos las maletas en las motos, y empezamos a atravesar esa gran montaña que para mí fue un reto completo, pero, luego, se vendrán esas vistas supermaravillosas de ese lugar que me dejo sin palabras; pero eso se los cuento luego chicos hay mucho por contar...

We put our bags on the bikes and started to cross that big mountain, which was a real challenge for me, but then we were rewarded with those amazing views that left me speechless. But I'll tell you about that later, guys, there's so much to tell...
