Luego de estar perdida un tiempo, vuelvo por acá para contarles una anécdota de un camping diferente, algo fuera de lo común y que me gustaría que ustedes me dieran sus opiniones acerca de qué opinan y bueno, sin más nada empecemos...

After being away for a while, I'm back to tell you a story about a different kind of camping trip, something out of the ordinary, and I'd like to hear your opinions about it. So, without further ado, let's get started...

Una vista a las montañas... "A view of the mountains..."

Como ya saben soy fan de ver la montaña y la naturaleza, así que un fin de semana me decidí a ir de camping a un lugar en la montaña de Caño Grande, Pedraza/ Barinas Venezuela, en donde se pueden ver las montañas de la Sierra Nevada de Mérida a la distancia. Es un lugar muy bonito en las alturas, de por aca es uno que tiene las mejores vistas, de hecho, han venido personas del extranjero, influencers como @patrickviaja Han pisado esta tierra, Capital de los llanos, ríos y montañas.

As you know, I am a fan of mountains and nature, so one weekend I decided to go camping in the mountains of Caño Grande, Pedraza/Barinas, Venezuela, where you can see the Sierra Nevada de Mérida mountains in the distance. It's a very beautiful place high up in the mountains, and it's one of the best places to enjoy the views. In fact, people from abroad have come here, including influencers such as @patrickviaja. They have set foot on this land, the capital of the plains, rivers, and mountains.

Por lo general en el camping aprovecho para poder disfrutar al máximo de la naturaleza y llevo cositas para picar, comida lista o cuando vamos un grupo de gente grande si hacemos parrilla y comida en fogata. Esta vez opté por llevar unas arepitas, por acá tengo una foto de ellas mientras me las comía jaja y se las dejaré por aquí.

I usually take advantage of camping to enjoy nature to the fullest, and I bring snacks, ready-made food, or when we go with a large group of people, we barbecue and cook food over a campfire. This time I decided to bring some arepas. Here's a photo of me eating them, haha, and I'll leave it here for you.

Lástima, no tengo una buena cámara nocturna, pero la verdad esa noche fue muy muy estrellada, hubo una luna muy radiante que iluminaba todo el camino y toda la montaña. Por un momento se nubló el cielo de madrugada, y se escuchaba la briza soplar fuerte, tuve que estar bien abrigada, porque el frío sí que era potente.

Unfortunately, I don't have a good night camera, but the truth is that night was very starry, with a bright moon illuminating the entire path and the whole mountain. For a moment, the sky clouded over at dawn, and you could hear the breeze blowing strongly. I had to wrap up warm because it was really cold.

Sin duda, lo que más disfruté fue el amanecer, me desperté muy temprano para poder verlo desde el inicio y fui viendo cómo avanzó toda la mañana mientras disfrutaba de un cafecito y de unos panes que había guardado jeje.

Without a doubt, what I enjoyed most was the sunrise. I woke up very early to see it from the beginning and watched it progress throughout the morning while enjoying a cup of coffee and some bread I had saved, hehe.

Disfrute, haciendo un poco de yoga, tomando el sol y apreciando la naturaleza, escuchar el sonido de los pajaritos por la mañana, de todos los animales que se encontraban por allí cerca, fue muy especial. Suelo apreciar todas esas cosas, así que de verdad lo disfruté.

Enjoy doing a little yoga, sunbathing, and appreciating nature, listening to the sound of birds singing in the morning and all the animals nearby—it was very special. I usually appreciate all those things, so I really enjoyed it.

Luego del camping, desarmamos las carpas y todo ello y nos fuimos descendiendo en moto y decidimos entrar a varios lugares, a varios balnearios para poder refrescarnos, ya que como ven en las imágenes del amanecer se veía que iba a ser un día totalmente soleado y así lo fue.

After camping, we took down the tents and everything else and headed downhill on our motorcycles. We decided to stop at several places, several beach resorts, to cool off, because as you can see in the sunrise pictures, it looked like it was going to be a totally sunny day, and that's how it turned out.

El aleteo de las Mariposas... "The fluttering of butterflies..."

Llegamos al río La Acequia, exactamente cerca del campamento Guamanchi. No entramos directamente al campamento, sino que estuvimos en sus alrededores. Pasamos a través de un puente colgante de tablas de madera. Muy tenebroso, la verdad. Da un poco de miedo cruzar a través de él, pero se logró.

We arrived at the La Acequia River, right near the Guamanchi camp. We didn't go directly into the camp, but stayed in the surrounding area. We crossed a suspension bridge made of wooden planks. It was really scary, to be honest. It was a little frightening to cross it, but we made it.

Llegamos hasta la orilla del río luego de cruzar el puente. Y, durante unos minutos, mientras observamos el río, me di cuenta de que había unas mariposas muy hermosas. Muy bonitas. La verdad no sé mucho de biología, ni de animales. Pero, si alguien sabe por acá cómo se llama y a qué se debe el fenómeno que les voy a contar, me gustaría escucharlos en los comentarios.

We reached the riverbank after crossing the bridge. And, for a few minutes, as we watched the river, I noticed some very beautiful butterflies. Very pretty. I don't really know much about biology or animals. But if anyone here knows what they are called and what causes the phenomenon I'm about to describe, I'd love to hear from you in the comments.

Empecé a ver mariposas revolotear. Uno se acercó hacia mí y se posó sobre mis manos. Volaba alrededor de mí. Pensé que era una sola que se acercaría, pero luego me percaté de que eran muchas.

I began to see butterflies fluttering around. One approached me and landed on my hands. It flew around me. I thought it was just one that would come closer, but then I realized there were many.

Más de 10 mariposas volando alrededor de mí, al parecer estaban hidratándose conmigo, jeje, porque se pegaron a mí luego de haberme bañado en las aguas, lo curioso es que yo estaba acompañada con otra persona, pero solo me buscaban a mí. Grabé algunos videos, pero se me hace un poco complicado subirlos a esta página, así que les mostraré algunas fotos que logré tomar.

More than 10 butterflies were flying around me. It seemed like they were hydrating themselves with me, hehe, because they stuck to me after I bathed in the water. The funny thing is that I was with someone else, but they only sought me out. I recorded some videos, but it's a little complicated to upload them to this page, so I'll show you some photos I managed to take.

Me pareció un mágico, interesante, tal vez hasta una señal para mí o para mi vida. O solamente un hecho natural. ¿Qué opinan ustedes? Pero de verdad, fue algo especial.

I thought it was magical, interesting, maybe even a sign for me or for my life. Or just a natural occurrence. What do you think? But really, it was something special.
