Un lazo de Amistad [Esp/Eng]

Hola comunidad, como saben ustedes y he comentado antes; los lazos de amistad para mí son bastante especiales e importantes y por eso me encanta pasar mucho tiempo con ellas y en esta oportunidad les voy a mostrar un poco de lo que fue el cumpleaños de una de mis amigas cercanas que vive un poco lejos, pero siempre hacemos el esfuerzo para vernos y compartir juntas.

Hello community, as you know and as I have mentioned before, friendships are very special and important to me, which is why I love spending time with my friends. Today, I am going to show you a little bit of what my close friend's birthday was like. She lives a little far away, but we always make an effort to see each other and spend time together.

Como es de costumbre, celebramos los cumpleaños entre amigos. Y esta vez nos dirigimos hacia Socopó, que queda en Barinas/Venezuela. Yo fui desde la tarde para poder pasar un tiempo con ella. Paseamos, fuimos a comer, estuvimos compartiendo.

As usual, we celebrate birthdays with friends. And this time we headed to Socopó, which is in Barinas, Venezuela. I went in the afternoon so I could spend some time with her. We went for a walk, went out to eat, and spent time together.

Conocí también otras amistades de ella, unas personas muy chéveres. Aprovechamos para hacer karaoke, hablar por la noche, tomar algo. También, como mi amiga, es chef, pues no hacía falta más que una supermega torta que le encantara. Así que se le compró una torta de frutas y tres leches demasiado exquisita. Podría decir que fue una de las mejores tortas que me he comido.

I also met some of her other friends, who were really cool people. We took the opportunity to do karaoke, talk at night, and have a drink. Also, since my friend is a chef, all she needed was a super-mega cake that she would love. So we bought her a fruit and tres leches cake that was absolutely delicious. I could say it was one of the best cakes I've ever eaten.

La pasamos muy chévere, toda la noche conversamos hasta tarde, contando cuentos de nuestra infancia.

We had a great time, talking late into the night, telling stories about our childhood.

En la mañana siguiente también aprovechamos y por primera vez pruebo el mate. La verdad fue una experiencia bastante extraña al principio porque fue como que vaya que es esto. Es una bebida muy amarga al principio.

The next morning we also took advantage of the opportunity and I tried mate for the first time. To be honest, it was a pretty strange experience at first because it was like, wow, what is this? It's a very bitter drink at first.

Es un gusto como añadido para las personas, porque no creo que le pueda gustar a todo el mundo. Pero en particular me pareció un sabor extraño, pero agradable para mi paladar y pues sí lo probaría de nuevo.

It's a nice addition for people, because I don't think everyone will like it. But I found it to be a strange flavor, yet pleasant to my palate, and I would try it again.

También aprovechamos y desayunamos arepitas de trigo muy populares aquí en la parte andina de Venezuela.

We also took advantage of the opportunity to have breakfast with wheat arepas, which are very popular here in the Andean region of Venezuela.

Y bueno chicos, cabe destacar que soy fan de guardar momento en fotografías, así que obviamente guardé de estos momentos especiales que compartí con ellos.

Espero saber también un poco más sobre ustedes, tengo poco tiempo en esta comunidad de family & friends. Pero la verdad es que me agrada mucho que las personas, al igual que yo, disfruten mucho de la compañía de sus seres queridos. Y que, digamos, estén honrados de formar parte de sus vidas.
